"A perfect spot if you are looking for a new experience away from the hotels and crowd. The bus is conveniently located just off the road from the ferry terminal. It has a double-bed and fully equipped kitchen. The shower has running water but the toilet is less sophisticated. We traveled in a caravan before so we were prepared. "What a wonderful place!! So quiet, peaceful and comfortable! Our hosts were lovely and provided breakfast items and plenty of tea and coffee. The comfortable bed gave us good rest for our long days of sightseeing. The WiFi was extremely slow but we were able to bring up maps. It was good to be so close to Penneshaw and groceries and the ferry. Thank you for a memorable holiday experience! We highly recommend The Fig Tree BnB!"

"We had a fun time with our stay, it was cozy and comfortable. The kids had a fun time watching wallabies and kangaroos and it is very close to a massive white sand beach. It was great seeing wild life around and the fire place was great. The bathroom was suprisingly spacious and comfortable to use and the whole place is complete of cookeries we needed for our stay. I definitely recommend this to couples for a get-away stay. "

"Disappointing. While the hotel is in the process of being extended and refurbished, that did not include the room we stayed in which although spacious and clean was in need of an update. The hanging space and vanity were tiny, especially for such a large room. Eating out options at American River for dinner are extremely limited.
