"As a studio cabin we expected basics, however those basics included all the welcoming comforts typically provided by 5 star hotels, including a lovely soft bed in a clean and cosy 3 room apartment, down to a TV and a fireplace with logs all set to go. "An absolutely amazing place and it was a great pleasure to have been able to stay here especially with my dog. I enjoyed learning about the building and the incredible man who had foresight to come to Australia and create many special houses. Whilst staying at the Hermitage we dined at The Emerald restaurant just across the road. If you get a chance go and enjoy their delicious menu."

"Oue stay of 5 nights was excellent. Cottage was comfy, wirh a good bed. We had a 2 bedroom cottage for just 2 of us, which gave us space for luggage, and increased living space. Washing machine and dryer were great to have. Shower was nice and hot. Cooking facilities were pretty good. Used microwave and gas oven. Good sized fridge. Air con heated Cottage and wall heaters in bedrooms, and electric blankets if required. Thick doona. Quiet setting, with only 6 cottages on site. Short drive to...

Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd.
