Eagle Rock - Spacious Oceanfront - Family Friendly Home

Welcome to "Eagle Rock". Whether you are a family or a group of friends, come and enjoy this sunny, west-facing oceanfront home on beautiful Pender Island.

You will love the stunning sunsets, breathtaking views, and clean ocean air. Eagle Rock has a spacious living-dining room, a huge eat-in kitchen, two king bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and two more bedrooms with one full bathroom with a family room and kitchenette downstairs.

Sit on the 600-square-foot deck upstairs or the 300-square-foot deck below and watch the whales swim by while the eagles soar. Or, get closer by walking down to the ocean-side flagstone patio and sit on the Adirondack chairs.

This spacious 3000-square-foot family home is on a private one-acre lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are two wood-burning fireplaces, one upstairs and one down.

Enjoy comfortable dining outside and inside. Grill on the propane BBQ. Find peace in the Hot Tub overlooking the ocean view.

The large eat-in kitchen has everything you need, including spices, olive oil, and aluminum foil. Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large kitchen island with stools ensure a lot of room to cook and socialize.

Downstairs, you or the kids can have fun in the Games/Family Room. It has a foosball table, a 65-inch TV, a pull-out Queen-size sofa bed, and a twKitchenette.

A short stroll brings you to charming beaches, the marina, and a picnic spot.

Pender Island provides two well-stocked grocery stores, two wine and liquor stores, a pharmacy, bakeries, and many restaurants. You only need to bring your clothes.

At Brownings Marina, you can rent kayaks or charter boats, swim in the pool, or eat at the pub or restaurant.

Just a short ferry ride or a quick floatplane ride from Vancouver, Seattle, or Victoria, "Eagle Rock" is located in the Southern Gulf Islands on Canada's beautiful Pacific West Coast.

The view is absolutely stunning! The property is more than it states. I will add a tiny bit more information. The driveway does indeed fit 4 cars. Just keep in mind that 2 cars will always be buried at the front and it’s a slightly curved in and slightly curved out. Pauline briefly mentions the little tram. However it was a game changer for our little group as you can unload and load less than 300lbs of luggage and groceries and with a person at the top to send it down and people at the bottom unloading and sending it back up- it made short work of unloading and at the end, reloading. Plus anyone with accessibility issues could ride it down alone. Absolutely brilliant. The house has beautiful artwork, comfortable couches and the beds, pillows and linens were top notch. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with loads of wine glasses, serving dishes, quality frying pans and beautifully sharp knives. And if you follow her instructions to keep the blinds down (through which you can still see the view) the main level can be comfortably cool. We spent a ridiculous amount of time on the decks and down at the whale watch area. The sunrises and sunsets are staggeringly breathtaking and the view from anywhere in the house is spectacular. Would we come here again? Absolutely. Would we recommend it it others? Without hesitation. Such a lovely property- thanks Pauline for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Amazing!! Host was super communicative, all instructions were on point. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need - and a chefs dream (imagine my surprise there was an immersion blender! Plus, knives that actually cut!) the house is so well thought out and equipped you may not want to leave (or need to). Two people in our group are recent knee replacements and there is a lovely tram to assist you with the steps outside or to haul groceries and/ or luggage. We can’t wait to go back to see the deer right at our door, the whales, eagles and hummingbirds visible right from our deck.

Beautiful Pender Island View

Great location, amazing views, good space for a family of 8 plus 1 toddler. Close to hiking, disc golf, cidery and winery. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Nice deck with hotub overlooking the water and beautiful sunsets

Beautiful Pender Island

We had a lovely stay at Eagle Rock. Pauline’s place is extremely clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and games area. The highlight for our family was the upper deck with stunning views for morning coffee, family meals and games or evening soaks in the hot tub observing the stars. Looking forward to returning!

Late summer paradise

Beautiful accommodation inside and out. The residence is only surpassed by the glorious natural surroundings. We spent a week unwinding as a family - the days were packed and we still haven’t seen all the island has to offer!

A Peaceful and Quiet Oasis

We loved our stay at Pender Island. Relaxing in the hot tub or on either deck and looking at the water and wildlife was just the city escape we both needed. The house had everything we needed thanks to our host Pauline. We especially appreciated the flexibility on leaving time for checkout day, so we could be comfortable at the house before taking a later ferry. While on the island, we visited the winery and cidery. The winery had a lovely setting but I would have liked to have tried red wines too. The cidery was fantastic in our experience, and we wish we’d bought a few more bottles to take home. We ate on the patio of the marina restaurant, got ice cream, and picked up sandwiches and baked goods at a local bakery/cafe. All were great and provided tasty vegetarian options. We stopped at a larger grocery store in Victoria to buy some of the Salt Island cheeses to try, since we planned to go straight to Pender Island. Glad we did. Yummy!!

Amazing getaway!

My friends and I were blown away by the beauty of this location and property. The home was spacious, the bedrooms were gorgeous, and we had a lovely time enjoying the hot tub, deck, and whale watching spot. Pauline was very helpful and communicative, provided clear instructions for all amenities and shared some great local suggestions that made for a great weekend getaway. Our best family vacation ever!

Seven of our family, ages ranging from 4 to 72, met and stayed at the beautiful Eagle Rock for a week. The home was spacious and comfortable, and our vacation would have been perfect if we only had enjoyed the incredible views. But we sampled everything Pender Island had to offer! From picking blackberries to sampling wine and cider to the last day at the Fall Festival, it was the best family vacation ever. Thanks to our wonderful host for making it easy and comfortable.

Pender vacation

Great place to stay with stunning views. Had a group of friends come from throughout BC. Hardest thing was getting there but Pauline advised us to book a ferry and had a great check in and check out system. Seamless. There was a lot of broom on the property but it seems to be growing all over the island. But, the location is awesome, the house is fantastic and the views over the ocean are incredible. Great place to unwind and enjoy with friends or by yourself.

A slice of heaven

Eagle Rock did not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful location. Pauline is very responsive if you have any questions. The home itself is very comfortable and spacious and has everything you need. We were a group of seven adults and we had all the space we needed. Sitting in the crystal clear hot tub in the afternoon looking out at the ocean was indescribable. We spent so much time on the upper deck relaxing, reading and watching the ocean for wildlife. There were a couple seals that hung out in front a few of the days and we had a pod of whales go by one afternoon. We filled the hummingbird feeder and had humming birds all day into the evenings. And the sunsets are spectacular!! Loved our time at Eagle Rock! Can’t wait to visit again!!

Girls weekend on Pender!
