Wedding of our dreams!

Neidpath Castle was truly the wedding venue of our dreams. All the guests commented on how unique, beautiful and fun the castle was. Queen Mary's Chamber itself was so cozy and the bed was incredibly comfortable!! We absolutely loved our stay.

Lovely

Really lovely and comfortable accomodation. Very well equipped with a sitting area, table and chairs, and a well stocked pantry with a mini fridge. Lots of character. We had a lovely time.

Amazing place!

It was really cool having a whole castle to ourselves for the night. There is clearly a lot of history here. Nice to be able to explore. Keep an eye out for the secret room! The price is very reasonable for having a whole castle to yourself. The caretakers we met were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Peebles is a lovely little town where we were able to find restaurants and shops. Overall a great experience.

You feel very lucky if you can stay here

I really cannot put into words how priceless this experience was. It is a bucket list venue. My sons and I had the entire castle, to ourselves, for the night to celebrate a 21st birthday. What an amazing place. Katarina is thee perfect property manager...she has been there 20 years so she really knows every guests vibe and needs. It is truly a once in a lifetime visit...but really, you just leave, knowing that you have to go back. Thankyou for letting us learn about the history, and literally living it.

Not only one of the most wonderful stays in Scotland but one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives! How often do you get to stay AT a castle? One that is so authentic, with so much history and run by staff that is absolutely second to none. We can’t say enough good things about this place, the comfort, the location. It’s the embodiment of this beautiful country and these incredible people. Thank you so much Sandy. We love you.

Historic experience

Our stay was amazing. The castle and outdoor setting were so beautiful. Having the experience to be on our own in this incredible place was most memorable and truly was our best accommodation on our whole trip! (Actually for all our travels).We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the castle and our rooms were so cozy and comfortable. Our thanks go to the staff for a smooth transaction and a welcoming overview.. We especially enjoyed our delectable meal. What a dining experience! Thank you Gemma!

Romantic accommodation

We stayed in the Queen Mary Chambers at Neidpath castle for our wedding. The accommodation was the perfect setting for our pre and post wedding night. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is such a romantic and beautiful setting and the bed was so comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here.

Neidpath castle is GREAT

Katarina was a great host very helpful. She made use feel very welcome. The castle is great there is so much history that’s on display. Really it was a great stay and I couldn’t ask for any better. I highly recommend the stay it’s well worth it.

What an absolutely extraordinary place to stay. We felt as though we stepped back in time and could appreciate the history of Neidpath Castle. The dinner we had there was the best we have enjoyed yet!

An amazing, unforgettable experience

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay. Katarina was so very lovely and helpful. The castle itself is incredible. I could have spent all day just exploring inside. A really brilliant end to my last night in Scotland and something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Thankyou so much again.

Wonderful Historic Place to Stay with THE most Comfortable Bed!

This was a wonderful stay, in a unique piece of history. It was clean, and the food left for breakfast was delicious. The bed... oh the bed... it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Loved my night there.

Fun and luxury at the castle

We shared a magical night exploring and feeling pampered in our castle for the night. Host walked us through beautifully and left us to find the fun rooms and special touches throughout the castle. We had all the modern conveniences in a setting kept true to the original feel of the castle. We really felt like royalty. Food was wonderful too. Thank you Katrina for setting things up for us. I just wish I could keep this jewel a secret so we could book it again!

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be! The castle and grounds are well cared for and the hosts were great to visit with to learn about the history and how the castle is used today. This was a core memory portion of our time in Scotland.

A magical and memorable stay

We took the bus from Edinburgh on a wet and dreary afternoon. When we arrived into Peebles and got to Neidpath, the sun was out without a cloud in the sky. I think that says more about how special our stay was than the weather in Scotland.

1st Anniversary stay

We were celebrating 1 year on from our wedding at Neidpath. Katarina had the chamber lovely and cosy for our arrival and fire ready to go, all we had to do was strike a match. We had a lovely little continental breakfast waiting for us with fresh bread, salmon, soft cheese and more. Staying in the castle and having exclusive access to the history of it's walls is a one of a kind experience. We feel for lucky to have a connection to Neidpath and it will forever be our happy place. Thank you for making our stay so special and memorable. Rea & Rikki Xo

Magnificent Castle.

Wonderful castle. The Queen's Chamber, Lounge Area and Kitchen had everything we could possibly want or need. The lady welcomed us with much knowledge of the history which we loved and were in awe of. The location and surrounds were very pretty and peaceful. A tranquil oasis, the highlight of our Scottish Holiday.

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay immensely! It was so nice to be able to wander around the castle at our own pace exploring. Katarina who checked us in, gave us a very informative history of the castle and made sure we were all settled in. We only wish we had been able to partake in the dinner being made by a private chef but he was on holiday, maybe next time!
