"We had a family of 11, ages 7 to 70, stay here for the weekend. We had a great time. Outdoor space was amazing for the perfect temperatures we had. We sat on the top deck a lot and enjoyed the views, fished, grilled, and played games. Only issue was the internet. Couldn't get it to connect which was probably only temporary and I'm sure is pretty common on the lake but no big deal. Host was great and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. "What a lovely vacation home! It's gorgeously done, and such a pretty porch/water view! We spent four days here fishing and just relaxing with our dog. Everything you need is truly at your disposal (great kitchen set up!) and the rooms are decorated exceptionally well and with fun, bright colors. Extra twin beds in each bedroom are so fun for kids. We felt at home instantly! There is a Brookshires just a few minutes away, so you can pick up needed groceries. Laura was an amazing host. We texted...

"We had an amazing stay at Pleasant Place Getaway. Two of my lifelong friends and I had a 3 day stay, and we all hated to leave. The location was perfect, close to shopping, but totally private in a rural location. There are plenty places to shop even when it’s not First Monday. Kerry was an excellent host. "The property was more impressive in person than the photos could depict. It's in a beautiful location on a peaceful finger of the lake, protected from the wind and chop on the larger part of the lake. Our group was three couples of old friends who stayed in the home during a holiday weekend. It was so nice sitting on the covered back patio enjoying the lake view and the sound of families playing and laughing together. If I didn't want a lake house before, I certainly do now!
