Beautiful oceanfront 2nd Floor 1 BR condo in Litchfield By the Sea Resort. Coastal decor welcomes you to unwind in the spacious living area, or relax on the balcony with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor pool. Comfortable King size bed, granite countertops, a fully stocked kitchen, and a spacious living room make this your perfect home away from home. Step outside to spend the day on the beach or play in the pool, lazy river and kiddie pool.
Resort offers a fishing pier, tennis and pickleball courts, scenic walking paths, 2 restaurants, an ice cream shop and a Starbucks onsite.
Make sure you venture out in Pawleys to experience delish dining choices and unique shopping!

*Dog friendly for an additional $175 fee, processed closer to the time of stay.
*Please note our cancellation policy below. If you choose to cancel, processing fees will be applied.
*PLEASE read the rental agreement before signing. We strive to have each property working in perfect order, however, we can not guarantee that each appliance, a/c, wifi and/or cable will continue to work properly. Once reported, we will make every reasonable effort to assist with repairs in a timely manner. We can not assist with all non-emergencies after business hours, but will promptly respond the next day.
*We strongly encourage travel insurance for rentals during the Hurricane season time frame- June 1st- November 30th. During this timeframe we ONLY refund cancellations if there is a state of emergency ordinance for our area or a mandatory evacuation. For cancellations due to weather conditions, we strive to work with you to reschedule your stay.
*Pools are managed by the HOA. HOA determines the pool hours of operation. We are not responsible for the temporary closure of the pools due to repairs.

Litchfield Inn By the Sea

If you stay at Litchfield Inn by the Sea, I recommend that you go directly through them. It was frustrating to come in from a long day of travel, know your room was ready but not be able to check in 15 minutes early because the realtor managing the property can't or won't let your code work one second before stated check in time. When we did get checked in and realized there were no pool bands for us, we were not able to go to front desk to get them since we didn't book directly through Litchfield Inn by the Sea. When I contacted realtor and let them know how anxious my son was to get to the pool, there was no apology. We were kicked out of the pool when we entered without the wrist band and had to wait over an hour to have access to amenities. Not a big deal bc mistakes happen, but given that we stood outside of the door and they would not let us check in to an empty room 15 minutes early, then didn't have our supplies there, and had a leaking bathroom sink, they should have at least given a 50 credit or an apology. There are only 2 washing machines and one dryer for four floors of condos, so we had to wait to use laundry often. Others we talked to paid a LOT less than we did per night for units that were identical to ours. For these reasons, I will book a different unit if we do go back.

Restful Retreat

I enjoyed the beautiful condo for a few days. I brought my Pomsky with me, and he had a blast playing in the waves. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a well organized and clean condo. The view is amazing from the balcony and the stay was very relaxing .

Very convenient, updated condo that is pet friendly!

This condo is very clean, updated and convenient location to the beach for a short stay. Owner seems very guest focused, as he actually has a you tube to instruct tv usage.

Great ocean view, beautifully landscaped walk to beach

The Escape was just right for our mid-week, last-minute-planned beach trip. Kitchen area is small (in a narrow hallway) but well-equipped. Comfortable bed made me want to peek at the mattress brand, but sadly I forgot to before leaving. Close proximity to wooded bicycle path to Murrells Inlet especially appealing! Had a lovely stay.

Two day getaway.

Nice spot. Nice view from balcony. Straight shot to get on beach. Sweet community. Everything was as described. Only thing. I’d change is the bedroom needs blackout curtains. Hard to sleep with all that light from windows…

Totally Unacceptable

We didn't get to stay due to fact that we did not have instructions as to how to get into the condo. We got the instructions by email on the way down and didn't see it in time. We went to the main registration and the gate and neither knew about the reservation. We spoke to your representation and she was very helpful the next day but we had already rented another room. Up to that day communication was quite good but this oversight was not acceptable.

Great stay

We really enjoyed this small condo for a long weekend. It was perfect for my husband and me. The kitchen is quite small but just fine for us. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the views from the balcony. Easy, quick walk to the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE - BLACK MOLD ALL OVER UNIT

I checked in right on time. First, had some difficulty with the directions I was given and had to call security for help because the property manager was not answering. When we checked in we noticed the ceiling looked weird, like it was dirty. I knew it was black mold immediately and that the unit was not safe to stay in. We tried calling the property manager but AGAIN no answer. You'd think they would have people by the phones during guest check-in. Finally, after speaking to VRBO and finding a number on some marketing materials in the room, we were connected with someone. They had the AUDACITY to suggest maintenance come out and take a look, as if they didn't believe me. You can't solve black mold with a maintenance request. I fought back and finally got a new accommodation that was NOT beach front and was NOT what I had paid for. It almost ruined my entire trip. I do NOT recommend this unit as every single thing would have needed to be replaced in order to make this a safe environment and I HIGHLY doubt they did that. If you care about your families health and safety, you will find a different place to stay.
