"I have stayed three nights at the Comfort Inn Fremont for a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the main highways, restaurants and other services. The room was comfortable, big bad and good restroom. Clean and in order. The low point is the breakfast. Just a few options available. Only bacon and eggs as salted options, which is too heavy for many people. No biscuits and a few choice of breads and fruits. People were friendly in general. "

"The breakfast was my only complaint. There was nothing to eat other than two types of cereal and a little bit of microwave oatmeal there was also one loaf of Walmart bread"

"The staff was friendly and property was clean but our room smelled like urine really bad. I possibly would stay in a smaller room in future but the big room with kitchenette was very smelly of strong urine. The staff were nice though."

"Facility is undergoing a remodel and there is construction debris everywhere, pool and other facilities closed. Only second and third floor rooms available and they are charging $200+ a night. Most disappointing is that there is no information on website or vendor sites providing information and you become aware only upon arrival. Place so dirty and disruptive that we refused to stay."

"I arrived at this Red Roof with a near traumatic experience in their hotel in Benton Harbor. But: surprise! This one is much better. The room was decent, as well as the bathroom. There is a swimming pool and a decent breakfast included. But one of the days they “forgot” to make up my room. And there was no maid available. The staff was very friendly. "

"Went for breakfast a few minutes after it was supposed to be open at 6:05. Nothing was put out yet. Staff saw us and then put down their phone and started to put things out slowly. We were on a time schedule so we could not wait. Won’t stay here again."

"When I got to the address listed in this booking it was an abandoned Days Inn with no people in site. There was zero signage indicating I was in the right place and it felt unsafe and super sketchy. I did not stay here and will be using my travel insurance for false advertising/the motel not apparently existing as advertised"

"Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond."

"My husband have come to Port Clinton every year since 2021. We usually have stayed here except for last year. Nice older property with good views of the lake across the street if you get a front facing room. Spacious rooms, but could use some updates with the furniture especially the mattresses! I like firm but the mattress was too hard and can feel the springs in some spots. Breakfast was fair with ok choices."
