The staff member at the front desk was kind and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. It appears they may be undergoing renovations, as there were items and equipment scattered throughout the property. In its current state, the hotel would benefit from temporarily closing to properly complete renovations and organize the space.
There were several concerns that made the stay uncomfortable. Some staff members appeared to be living on-site, and children who seemed to be related to the staff were frequently in the lobby, treating it more like a living room. We noticed laundry being done in common areas via security cameras, with staff folding linens alongside a dog in the laundry room.
The cleanliness was a major issue. The pool had visible stains on the walls, trash, and personal items left behind. The hot tub was out of order, which is understandable, but this should have been communicated in advance and more clearly marked off.
We were informed weād be charged for any stains on the bedding due to it being new ā understandable, but it also raised concerns about whether linens are regularly cleaned. Our room had stained walls, dirty floors, and a bathroom that was not properly sanitized. The tap water also had a strong fishy odor.
Overall, while the staff seemed friendly, the hotel does not currently meet basic cleanliness and hospitality standards. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements
