Ferry personnel did not come in time for our luggage to be brought to the boat, so staff at Metivier Inn brought it themselves. "Wonderful staff, attentive and kind. Roshane at the Round Island Kitchen was phenomenal and remembered each of my kids names every time we saw him. Even when he wasn't our waiter, he checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The cleaning staff was also extremely friendly and greeted us by name every time they saw us. This is a great place to stay on Mackinac, especially if you have kids. We also got tickets for my parents to see "The McCartney Years", and they loved it. "

"Our stay at The Murray Hotel was sub par but when you consider the comparative cost to other hotels on the island and the understood commitment to keeping historical aspects intact, it was probably as good as it gets.
