"If you are traveling with a pet(s) and going through Englewood Florida, this is the place to spend the night. We had a double queen bed room and it was more spacious than a lot of mini-suite rooms, and updated as well as clean. With two nice restaurants within 50 yards and a Dunkin down the road for an early coffee, this is once again truly the place to spend the night. "

"After traveling on business for many years and staying in all the Marriott's and Hilton's, it's really a pleasure to stay in an old-fashioned "motor inn" where not everything is perfect, but you feel good just about the place because it's so homey. That's what we loved about Angler's Inn, a quaint, small inn directly on the water in Matlacha. We had a nice little kitchen, a great bed, and a screened-in porch.
