Small charming house in a private flowered alley in the center of Paris. Quiet and bright. The metro Goncourt (line 11), 5 minutes subway line 3,5 9,11. Many Bus. All shops, restaurants, brasseries and cafes. Near the Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame ......
2 large rooms of 35m2 each: ground floor, a large room with lounge (sofa bed), fitted kitchen, windows and toilets. First floor in a large room with a desk, a bathroom with shower and dressing room.


This little house is a quiet haven in the heart of a lively area, very close to the historical and cultural center, this area is the heart of the current Parisian life. From the house you can do everything on foot, strolling along the canal Saint Martin with all the typical restaurants of Paris life, or stroll around the Beaubourg center, in the historic Marais district.
Ideal for shopping and sightseeing and nightlife.
All kinds of shops are nearby.

A wonderful place to stay to explore Paris. Close to two Metro stations we were able to get to all the sites with little or no difficulty.The house was ideal, very quiet with all the facilities one might need. Close to many restaurants, our favourite being Bistro des Oies about 200 yards up Rue Bichet.

We Love This Rental

We we're traveling for about six weeks in Europe. We stayed at this property for a week upon arrival in Paris/Europe. And, after staying there, we were lucky to be able to book the property for our last 4-5 days in Paris before flying back to the States. We travel to Paris about once a year. We hope to be able to book this property again in the future. Very comfortable. Check in is super easy. Responsive host. Great metro options. Plenty of markets and restaurants in the area. We like going to shows at Le Zebra in Belleville. The proximity to the theater was among the reasons we selected this property, but we discovered so much more in the area. Can't wait to come back!

Can't wait to stay here again!

Everything about this property was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the property exactly as described on the VRBO page. If you are looking to stay near some of the most popular Paris sites (Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, etc.) this may not be what you are looking for. But if you are looking for a place with convenient metro stops, cafes, markets and easy access to some of the parks and places my husband and I enjoy, including Buttes Chaumount and Belleville, this property is perfect. We spent 10 days here and would gladly rent this property again. We are two older people and the stairs were a little worrisome in the middle of the night, if you have any mobility or balance issues, but that's the only possible concern. Everything else was fantastic.

Parisian-living in a spacious home close to the canal.

Kitsou's place is strategically located. The Goncourt Metro entrance is just around the corner, providing convenient transport access to both airports and all the tourist attractions. On the street are snack stores and boulogeries visited by locals. A large Monoprix supermarket is a short walk away. Best of all, the canal is nearby with many good restaurants, boutique stores, and a large postoffice to send off postcards. Enjoyed good food and service at the restaurant while watching the local activity around one of the moveable bridges over the canal. Kitsou's home is fantastically spacious and well equiped for cooking. The rain shower, hair dryer, ironing board, and large mirrors are helpful when getting fashion-ready. There are also a TV and a radio to access local channels. The caretaker is very friendly; we got along well eventhough she does not speak English. Note that there is an additional cleaning fee to be paid if there is a mess for the caretaker to cleanup. Lovely Parisian-style hide-away for couples. Will definitely stay again when we return.

Lovely, convenient apartment

Our stay at Kitsouā€™s apartment was perfect. The neighborhood was full of great markets, gourmet specialty shops, and a dedicated gluten free bakery. It was close to the Canal St Martin (great for running), the Metro, and a very lively neighborhood. The apartment was very quiet and cozy. I would stay again and highly recommend for active guests. Kitsou is wonderful and responsive host.

Paris in the Springtime

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely little enclave in the 11th arrondissement! It was so peaceful and quiet inside the walled area. Such easy access to 2 different subway stops, eateries galore and a wonderful street vibe made this a fantastic place to spend our time. The apartment is lovely, clean and nicely furnished. If we ever return to Paris, we would stay here again without hesitation!

Comfortable, beautiful, private, quiet.

This place is both gorgeous and functional. Itā€™s on a totally private and quiet alley (complete with a couple of cats from your neighbours), with a wonderful homey feel to it. A wall of windows on the main floor lets in light across a ledge holding a myriad of vintage art objects. The kitchen area is large and functional; the dining table likewise and there is a couch and a large coffee table with interesting books and magazines stored underneath. The bedroom upstairs is large with high ceilings, large modern shower, and two skylights, and also has a built-in desk area, ideal for keeping your electronics, phones/iPads, etc. Of the three places we stayed in Paris, this was the one we will definitely come back to. The immediate area is very local, the canal very close, lots of large (Monoprix) and small (boulangerie, pattiseries, wine store, bistros) places to eat and buy necessities. A comfortable and lovely place to stay.

A peaceful haven

Kitsouā€™s property is a delight! A short walk from the Canal St Martin. Convenient to shops and metro. The apartment has modern equipment, spacious layout and is spotlessly clean. The concierge was very helpful on our arrival and arranging a taxi for our very early departure. Once you get through the two gates, itā€™s like walking into a little country lane. Delightful!

Wonderful stay in the 11th!

Beautiful bohemian 2 floor accommodation located in a double gated mews, all the necessities were provided and we had a really comfortable stay. Kitsou was fantastic in communication prior to our stay with instructions on how to arrive, codes etc. Within the immediate area you are spoilt for choice with restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend!

this place is great! much bigger in person than online. My sister and I stayed it has everything you need! Also the location of this place is so great work tube access to the city plus so many great restaurants near by on Belleville. The place was supper clean and everyone was amazing and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend

Absolutely Parisian!

My stay in Paris was my best so far, from the privacy and beauty of the neighborhood courtyard to the privacy and beauty of the apartment. The neighbors and caretaker, Fernanda, were so friendly, and I felt like I truly belonged there that week. Kitsou is so lovely. She answered my questions promptly, and she was so sweet and encouraging, with ideas for shopping and tips for the apartment. The apartment itself is lovely appointed, with everything you need for cooking and eating (be sure to look in the cupboards for more dishes), and it is equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, washer, and refrigerator. The lovely art pieces really add to the feel of a vintage French apartment, and I fell in love with several French CDs while I was there. The upstairs/downstairs situation with the bedroom and bathroom was very easy to navigate. I did not have any issues at all, as a middle-aged woman, and I found everything I needed for towels, toilet paper, and light cleaning supplies. The shower had great water pressure and ample hot water. Monoprix was easy to get to for groceries, and there are three bakeries within ear shot for coffee and pastries and bread. Be sure not to miss the lovely flower shop a block away! I hope to stay here when I am next in Paris. Everything about this location and the host made it perfect for a Paris experience!

Excellent location in a haven of calm with a beautiful garden courtyard. Great kitchen facilities for cooking. Comfortable top floor bedroom with skylights. Fernanda is a super helpful gardienne. Even Jacques Demy to listen to! Highly recommended.

Ruhige Oase im quirligen Stadtteil

Kurze Version: Schee warā€˜s ā€¦ Lange Version: GerƤumige und durch die Lage im Innenhof extrem ruhige Ferienwohnung, die mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man benƶtigt. Alles Wichtige (Metro, gute Bars und Restaurants, BƤcker und SupermƤrkte, Parkhaus) ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Es gibt nur eine Toilette, welche sich nicht auf der Etage des Schlafzimmers befindet. Das steht aber auch so in der Beschreibung. Absolut zu empfehlen fĆ¼r einen Besuch dieser wunderschƶnen Stadt.
