Late check in because previous renters left property in a mess and only one cleaner was sent to clean up the mess. The person did a great job and was exceptionally professional but a team should have been there based on what we saw.There was no hot water at all in one of the bathrooms, making the only bathtub unusable.The lights in several of the bedrooms flickered on and off during the day and night, making us uneasy about electrical issues and given there are no windows for egress in the apartment at all, this was quite worrisome. I sent a message to the owners but did not receive a reply. I did see a couple of missed calls on my phone but as I was at Disney all day I did not check my phone.The apartment is in a great location. It is very spacious. But the only fresh air comes from tiny windows near the ceiling in the living room that are accessed by a long pole that we had to close because of rodent activity. The only light into the apartment comes through glass blocks in the ceiling in the living room, one bedroom and one bathroom. A large gap in the bottom of the front door ( only way in and out ) is easily large enough for rodents to enter and we stuffed it to prevent anything from coming in.The furniture in the apartment is shabby. The pictures are not really accurate in terms of their current condition. The blue sofa beds in the living room are in need of a deep clean, and the kitchen chair seams are filled with food. I hope they fix their issues.

Value did not match expectations

Our experience was less than satisfactory. From the start, our check-in was delayed by an hour, which was quite inconvenient. Once we arrived, the cleaning person informed us that she required an additional hour to finish. Despite this extended cleaning time, the floors were still not clean, and we found dirt in the bathrooms. Additionally, the accommodations fell short of our expectations in terms of comfort. The apartment lacked air conditioning, and although there were about a dozen small fans, some of them were not working. The only windows were in the living room ceiling, and only one section could be opened, resulting in insufficient airflow to cool down the place. The mattress in one of the bedrooms fell to the ground due to a broken frame under the mattress. We had to fix it ourselves since calling would have been inefficient. One of the bathrooms had mold, which was very concerning. Furthermore, there were no extra toilet paper supplies, and with a family of eight, we had to go shopping for toilet paper, which is the last thing you want to do while on vacation. Communication with the host was also problematic. The booking was made through VRBO, but we had to use a third party for communication, either by calling or chatting, which then required them to relay messages to the host. This indirect method of communication was frustrating and inefficient. Overall, our stay did not match the value paid, and we were disappointed with the experience.

Great apartment - except for the smell of mould from the kitchen cabins

We were overall satisfied with the apartment, mainly due to its location and the number of rooms, which suited us perfectly.BUT it’s worth mentioning some general issues and shortcomings that significantly lowered our overall impression:1) There was a strong smell of mold/mildew coming from the kitchen cabinets, most likely due to water damage in one of the walls.2) Several of the dining chairs were broken.3) The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes properly. They came out greasy and dirty, so we had to wash everything by hand. One of the reasons we chose this apartment was that it had a dishwasher in the kitchen.4) The kitchen ventilation was missing ducting, making it unusable. As a result, all the steam from the stove condensed on the wall and eventually dripped down.5) We missed having a wardrobe or hooks for our outerwear.We also missed having hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom
