Very nice property, conveniently located. Close to all the major sites in Paris. Apartment is as advertised, with individual air conditioners in all but one room. Eclectically decorated by the property owner who is a very accomplished professional artist. She is also a one-of-kind host, with outstanding personalized service, including daily delivery of an assortment of fresh croissants and baguettes that got our family of 7 off to a fresh start every morning. You won’t find a more thoughtful VRBO host than Claire Lavaud, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris. I’d go back again anytime. Thanks, Claire!

Fantastic Place to stay

Claire is an excellent host. She was very attentive and patient in explaining all of the wonderful amenities. The place has 4 bedrooms, which allow a family a lot of space. The jacuzzi was a great addition to enjoy after a long day of tourist activities in Paris. I would certainly recommend this Vrbo to anyone wanting a spacious quiet place to stay. The metro and tram stops are very convenient and can get you anywhere in Paris. (It may be a little distance from the major sites, but it is worth it. Just plan on a few extra minutes for travel. If you plan to stay more than just a few days, buy the Navigo Découverte Pass. ( We could go,all,over Paris as well as Versailles and Disneyland with that pass.)

This was quite the unique flat. We needed a larger place as we were traveling with another family so there were 7 in our group. The building contains 3 separate flats and shared space on the ground and basement floors. The hosts live in the building and were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They had a website set up with lots of information about the renal and the neighborhood. You will be walking up 3 flights of stairs to reach the flat and two more flights of stairs in the flat itself, which helps burn off some of the calories you will consume with all the delicious bread, pastries, cheese and wine :) This neighborhood is not near the major tourist attractions but has plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc and is a few blocks from the Metro so it's easy to get anywhere from here. We were here during an active period of city protests and it was very quiet (unlike the other apartment we stayed at near the river the week before). The kitchen is small but functional and well stocked, including a Nespresso machine, French Press, teas, oils, spices etc (look around before you go to the store). There are plenty of great groceries at nearby stores and bakeries. The furniture is all very comfortable, and the linens are nice. The decor is artistic and interesting (one of the owners is an artist and much of the art in the flat is hers). The owners' housekeeper stopped by most days to take out trash and do a light cleanup which was wonderful. There is a huge video screen that comes down from the ceiling in the master bedroom upstairs (Apple TV and other streaming services) and a great Soundsystem that you can connect to with your smartphone. There is a speaker downstairs as well that has a Bluetooth connection. The rooftop hot tub off the master bedroom was wonderful. There are bathrooms with showers on each of the three floors. The nearby park is also very lovely and includes a pond with swans. If we needed another large place, we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous accommodation!

We really enjoyed our stay in Claire's apartment. Having aircon throughout was a life saver as it was very hot both during the day and night. The apartment had all that we needed and Claire was easy to contact if we needed to check how to run some appliances. Easy to get to the supermarket, wine shop, bakeries. We would take the bus more next time (no 38 goes all the way past Saint Chapelle to the Gare du Nord!).

We had a great experience at this unit. The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. The u it was well furnished and in a good central location. There aren’t a ton of restaurants very close, so if you’re wanting a lot of variety of foods within walking distance, keep that in mind. Otherwise, we loved the apartment and would stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Paris for whole family

We had a wonderful time in Paris and our accommodations in this home were perfect! There were places for everyone to chill, very well appointed (especially liked the Nespresso) and plenty of room with great beds, bathrooms and kitchen spaces. Definitely plan to recommend this property to everyone we know who needs this size of apartment. The host is most helpful and gracious. Her extra assistance (online and in person) were exceptional!

Very accommodating host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is conveniently close to a lot of public transport and a wonderful public park. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are all very good. There are a significant number of stairs to get to the unit and within the unit, so just be aware of that. We had a great time and Claire was a wonderfully accommodating and helpful host! We really appreciated her hospitality.

Great experience

We loved the property! It had plenty of space for my party of 10. Claire was very accommodating and helpful. There was a notebook with helpful tips for the apartment and best ways to get around the city. The apartment was just a short walk to the metro. It is still within Zone 1, so it only cost us 1.9€ to get to most places within the city. There was plenty of plates, cutlery and cups for us to enjoy a few meals together. There were several grocery stores within a 5-10 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again!

Just as I expected!!!

This was one of my best Airbnb stays! The only complaint I have is that I don’t want to see a French baguette for a LONG time! Every morning we had a French breakfast waiting for us. Claire was the absolute best from the time I contacted her and all through our stay. She was always available for any and everything we needed. The place itself was very nice, lots and lots of steps! We had 10 adults and plenty of space to move around in. The building was walking distance to a main area where we could grocery shop, eat out, bakery, shopping etc. Half of us used the Metro and could walk straight to the station and half of us used Uber’s which were never expensive. I highly recommend Claire’s place for a family vacation, we had the time of our lives!

Wonderful apartment. Great for large group - had 5 adults and 4 children. Great location- easy to walk to public transportation. Claire is extremely attentive. We were running late on our arrival date - she had given me her phone number so I could text her as we got closer. She met us at the apartment around 830pm ( we had anticipated being there around 400); let us in the apartment; was always extremely helpful!! Highly recommend!!

Great Place for a Large Group!

We traveled with our four married children, so needed a five bedroom place for ten adults! The LeVaud’s home was an excellent choice. We wanted a place to gather and eat and visit, not separate hotel rooms. This fit the bill! We thought the location was a bit far from the main tourist sights, but loved being out in the real neighborhood. The metro, bus and trams were close. Bakeries, creperies, and groceries were all within a block or two. The LeVauds were helpful and we were very comfortable! We love Paris!

After walking up 3 flights of stairs, you come to the first level of this home with 3 bedrooms and one bath. The a/c units in the bedrooms were more of a challenge than the stairs. The Floors were dirty, etc., etc.

Truly Blessed

Family vacation, and we could of not asked for a more supportive host than Claire and her family. Once I reserved the housing, and made contact with Claire, she provided and responded to my questions and made adjustments when needed. Once we arrived, Claire on site to greet the family and provide a detail tour of the house and amenities. The location of the apartment close to local transportation and eating establishments. Tourist attractions, bus ride, metro or private car service easily accessible. The apartment, suited the number of family members at different age ranges. The top loft for the younger ones in the group. Yes, there are stairs, but its vacation time, and they continued to prepare the group for our daily outings. The apartment set up for preparing meals if you decided to do so, and if we required assistance with anything, Claire on site to provide. Finally, if you are looking for a warm welcome, and genius hostess, and wonderful Paris living experience, you can't beat Claire's wonderful apartment. Exellent property as we had 2 couples and each had two teenage sons and we all had good space.

Propertywas well located on southern side of river in quiet area. Mrs Lavaud was very helpful and pointing out the benefits of the property and had area maps of Paris and metro links. Our teenagers all had their own rooms and were happy with the property. Overall very high marks and we would stay there again

Beautiful apartment. We loved the terraces which offered a lot of light and breeze.

The apartment was beautiful, in an awesome location, and Claire was extremely hospitable and responsive to all of our inquiries about what to do and see during our wonderful trip to Paris. 10/10 would recommend.
