What I didn’t like are the staff. I booked a non refundable room, which I understand there is a policy in place. However, as a Marriott rewards member, I reached out 10 days in advance that I may not be able to get to Paris because of the strikes and notifications of my train services. They still would not refund the money which I was disappointed in but understand. The problem is they continued messaging me about how people are checking in and out every day and taxis, car services etc.. are running fine. That’s great for all of them, but both my trains in and out of Paris were cancelled. So I have to book new hotels, trains etc.. just to get home. and don’t need to hear multiple times how everyone is great with no problems at their hotel. Every train operator and hotel I had booked gave a full refund aside from this one. So if integrity and customer service are important to you then skip this place. The $ is not a big deal to me, the principle is.
