"To start, the drain pipe on the front of the hotel was on the ground. Great sign of how the rooms are maintained (they're not). We walk in the front door at about 10pm and see another couple who had been waiting for a clerk to check them in for 15 minutes. One of them went behind the counter in the back room trying to find an employee. We ended up calling the hotel and one of the staff members answered and finally came down the stairs to help check everyone in. Check-in was smooth but they...

"The room was soooo filthy we didn't stay....the room had bugs, both dead and alive; it stunk like an ash tray, despite being a "smoke free room"; when we asked why the room was so filthy we were told because the facility is an extended stay hotel...not sure what that has to do with proper cleaning but...word to all...DON'T STAY HERE!!!! The front desk told us, "This is what happens when you stay at a ghetto hotel". DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!"

"Mount Sequoyah is a beautiful place to stay. My partner and I were in town for a wedding weekend and wanted something a bit more interesting than your average hotel. Mount Sequoyah gave us the opportunity to unwind and watch the sunset from their lookout spot, walk peacefully and enjoy the grounds and the art, and sit on our porch and experience the wildlife. A mama doe and two spotted babies walked very close to our cabin. Our first night, we did not have warm water for showers, I am unsure...

"I’ve stayed in rundown motels and I know what to expect and what I’m getting for my money. But this place was unacceptable and for around $90 a night it’s upsetting. There were so many bugs in my room. And everything was extremely dirty. When I first got to my room I killed around 20 bugs crawling on the floor, walls, countertop, and fridge door. I was grossed out but gave the place a chance. When I got back to my room later in the evening and turned the lights on to discover tons of bugs...
