"I was a little bit wary booking this place as there were limited reviews. However for the price point and location for 2 nights we decided to book. I'm so glad we did as it's so well located. Minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants so close by too. It's an old characterful building but felt very secure and was surprisingly quiet on a night. For way less than a room in the big resorts we had lots of space and were very comfortable. It's certainly not high end luxury but clean, cosy, cool...

"The stay was okay, washroom had a strange smell the whole time. There was no house keeping at all. You don’t get to see anyone when you arrive. A bit tricky until you settle down. It was a bit over priced compare to what we were promised. Overall quite unpleasant experience due to luck of cleanliness and poor maintenance. Please do not come unless you don’t have any other choice! "

"Dawson's hideaway was a nice place to stay, the owner was very pleasant and welcoming. There are quite a lot of places within the area to walk to, like places to eat, bars and the mall is just a short ways away. A nice well kept yard with fruit trees that provided a lot of shade from the sun. I would recommend traveling with mosquito repellent for the evening to avoid mosquito bites. we purchased from the pharmacy on the corner. My husband, myself and our daughter traveled and stayed for 3 night...

"Did not receive the access information, had to call for the information. The bathroom looked liked the shower wanted to fall in. There was roaches in the bathroom. Was very disappointed, checked out the next day."
