"From the moment Bilitis opened the door to show us into the property, we were in love with this house! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the whole house is comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The views are even more spectacular than the photos - waking up to wide open views of the ocean and resting on the patio while watching the sunset every night is exactly what we needed on this vacation! Jimmy the concierge was amazing and very accommodating, the housekeeper did an excellent job, and having a security guard at night made us all that much more comfortable. "Our family LOVED staying at Villa Potrero. The house layout was perfect for our large family of 18. The house is updated and clean. The veranda was an ideal place to watch the sun rise and set or to just have morning coffee and listen to the ocean. "The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. "
