This apartment is located near Plaza Herrera, where you can see the statue of General Tomás Herrera, created by French artist Augusto Denis in 1928.

We also recommend Blue Moon TapHouse, where you can sample craft beers. If you’re in the mood for mimosas at sunset and an exquisite meal, surrounded by greenery on a charming outdoor terrace, be sure to visit MAHALO cocina y jardín. For a great-value meal and some excellent cocktails, head to Cocoa Casco Rooftop—a cozy terrace with a spectacular, relaxing view. Visit Pedro Mandinga to try raspadura, a traditional Panamanian artisanal rum that’s very smooth; you’ll enjoy it even more when sipped at this bar. And when it’s time for dessert, visit Nomé Chocolate. Be sure to visit the Interoceanic Canal Museum (Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and the Museum of Panamanian History (Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
