Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.
- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.
- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.
Parking in Prominence (North and South):
- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).
- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.
Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.
Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.
Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.
Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) which offers several restaurants including - Red's Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, Food Trucks, and more!
Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Age Requirement: Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 must be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.
Two Night Reservations: Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two-night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the property.
Promotions, Rates, Availability, Closures, Construction, and Cancellations:
Promotions may change, be cancelled, and dates may be blacked out at BeachWalk's sole discretion and without notice.
Rates, availability, and minimum stay requirements are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation or changes to the dates of stay within a certain period prior to check-in may result in forfeiture of payment, associated fees (up to $200), and/or additional charges, depending on the timing of the request.
No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted. Violating this policy will incur an additional $500 charge, plus the cost of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking in any form (e.g., cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) is not permitted. Violating this policy will incur an additional $500 charge, plus the cost of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
Exterior Surveillance Notice: For the security of our guests and the property, exterior security cameras are in place. These may include, but are not limited to, a front doorbell camera, driveway camera, cameras monitoring balconies, and a camera overseeing the pool area (if applicable). Starter Amenity Packs: At Beachwalk Vacations, we provide essential items for our guests to use until they can stock up at the store. For the bathrooms, we supply two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with basic amenities such as shampoo and a soap bar (similar to hotel-style, but not restocked during your stay). We also provide professionally laundered bed linens and towels with your reservation. For your convenience, we recommend bringing your own beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Excellent in every single way! The place was beautiful and spotless! I enjoyed sipping my coffee every morning on that perfect patio enjoying the sunrise! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back :)

The electric golf cart was great; as well as the bikes. Beautiful home and location. If the prices didn’t fluctuate, we would have booked the same house again for the next month! We certainly enjoyed our stay.

The townhome was really nice & met all of our needs. There were some minor cleanliness issues (garage refrigerator, kitchen countertop under appliances). In addition there were missing start up amenities ie. dish soap, hand soap, etc.).

Spring Break
The house was nice and the neighborhood was good. We enjoyed the golf cart and the bikes. I was a little disappointed with there was no balcony as pictured for unit A, also all the rooms are on the upper floors, the area is golf cart friendly but traffic is kinda busy there. We were never able to find a parking spot at the Chill but we were able to ride our bikes there. I liked it was only 15 miles from Panama City. Go there for beach access but Gulf Lake access is good to. I enjoyed my stay!

Perfect rental!
Our stay was perfect in every way! The home was updated, spacious, and impeccably clean upon arrival. They also thought of all details including items you might need while traveling. The hosts were very responsive before and during our stay. My kids loved using the gold cart to get around. It’s also located in a great spot across street from the Big Chill which has different food options and a lot of activities for kids and families. We will definitely be back to this area. Don’t hesitate to book!

Hi,
This was our third time staying in one of the condos at The Prominence and we were very disappointed by our experience. The lack of attention to detail and cleanliness were certainly overlooked. We believe the pictures advertised should accurately portray what we should receive from an expensive vacation home.
There were gnats all throughout the condo, the back porch was filthy and the outdoor furniture covered in dirt. The washing machine didn't work properly and several of our clothes now have permanent stains as a result. The beach chairs were rusty and most of the bikes had issues so we couldn’t safely ride them. The garage was very dirty and there were empty beer cans from the previous tenants. The fridge was dirty and had dead bugs in it.

Problems with garage door, front door, bathroom leak and not enough garbage bags.
Although beautiful, I would not rent this property again, because of the poor customer service! My children and I had to manually lift the very heavy garage door all week. Leak in upstairs bathroom and front door lock did not engage. Not to mention, only 2 garbage bags. We paid a lot of money to realize that customer service is dead!

Be aware… golf cart doesn’t work
Golf cart did not work… they provided a terrible replacement after 5 days of complaining. Garage door keypad was broken fixed after day 3. Only one dish rag and dish towel in the entire house, no beach towels so be prepared to pack your own. House itself was nice and looked very much like the pictures. The Big Chill was full of small children, so my teenage kids didn’t think it was as fun as a few years ago when we rented in this area. The reason we rented this house was because it came with a golf cart, so this was a big let down. Also you can’t just go rent one from an outside company in this neighborhood.

Unit has nice decor and furniture. The guest room bed is very firm and no tv is in the guest room nor the room with the bunk beds. We experienced several spiders and mosquitos in the unit. Overall, the amenities (pool, golf cart, etc.) was nice. Enjoyed our time

Relaxing place
The house was a perfect place to relax. We travel with 2 kids and one has autism and finds hard to adjust to a new place but he felt at home as soon we got there. Well equipped house with everything you need. Management was fast to answer all of our question . Internet signal is a little slow, hard to get signal in second floor but helps to get away from electronic and enjoy the family.

We had a great stay at the property. There was an issue at check-in that was resolved promptly. Property was comfortable and neighborhood was great for walking and riding bikes around. Great for families!

Great Property that Felt Like Home!
Amazing property property with modern amenities. This property is centrally located and we had no problem accessing the beach and other favorites spots in the area. The property manager was super nice and accommodating and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.

It was more of a headache
When we arrived the golf cart tire was flat, could not be fixed without a replacement, contacted them Beachwalk (property manager) and they said someone would be out to look at it that day. No one ever showed up so my husband spent half the day of our 2nd day trying to find a tire and then having someone put the tire on the rim. Also upon arrival the garage door handle was broken off and unable to use, someone came and fixed that the next day. The entire downstairs spelt like animal urine, took 2 days for someone to come steam clean all the furniture and rugs. 4-5 roaches were found when we arrived, pest control came 2 days later and then we started seeing > 10 roaches dead in random places. There were no spoons in the condo and a limited number of forks. On the next to the last day there was multiple flying insects (either ants or termites) in the condo and especially when you opened the back door they would swarm in. The pool area is absolutely ridiculous which was not explained to us upon booking. 60 people are allowed to use the pool at a time for 1 1/2 increments and NO CHAIRS unless you bring your own. This information was also not given to us. One pool for 60 people at a time with > 200 people staying in one place is ridiculous. This was our 2nd time staying in the area of The Hub and we will not be back and I will never book with Beachwalk vacations again, the communication was by far the worse. We were reimbursed for the use of the golf cart and the repairs but this unit should have been assessed by someone before we arrived and repairs made. And this was a vacation my husband did not want to spend half a day of vacation trying to find a tire to fix a golf cart and fixing it.
