Property was better than the pictures. Extremely spacious and very comfortably furnished. Fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom were a very nice touch. Pool and grounds were immaculately maintained. We had a great stay!

The house was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were perfect. The kitchen surfaces were difficult to work on and the coffee maker was insufficient for the group of 7 of us. The bathroom faucets were worn out needed an upgrade. The bathroom shower heads need updated and drawers had mildew orders.Our biggest problem was the bedroom with the bunks, they were uncomfortable, the door to the patio had noSmaller towels would nice in the bathrooms knob so you couldn’t use it, there was a claustrophobic vibe, the the lighting was insufficient.! No one slept in there! The pods used for laundry make the linens smell like cheap perfume and the sheets could be nicerThe home could use a good house cleaning not just a maids work, windows, mirrors, oiled wood surfaces are all in need of attention It’s was a fantastic vacation and we would love to return

Excellent says it all.... Absolutely stunning home and the furnishing are gorgeous... swimming pool is better than the pool at The Playboy Mansion .....the only thing better is the great property manager and fantastic owner....

First Class Accommodation

This is a fantastic property. It is located in a great neighborhood. But once you are here, it is hard to leave. The place to is a decorators dream come true. The pool and hot tub are excellent. Beds and bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Wow!

Barclay's place was AMAZING. Superb attention to detail, comfy furniture, super comfy beds, fabulous linens, pillows, and towels. Well-stocked kitchen, with plenty of dishes, wine glasses (thank you), and high quality pots and pans, serving dishes, knives, etc. Property was pristine and gorgeous. Pool and hot tub also clean and great temp. David and Barclay were super attentive! Oh and great location too. Everyone in our family loved the place and everything about it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Dessert Oasis

Spent Christmas poolside at this Oasis. Family joined us for a few nights, and everyone had their own ensuites which are spread out perfect for extended family. The house had a fabulous layout and comfortable bedding. Loved the fireplaces and designer furnishings. The property manager was super friendly and accommodating and even offered to buy us a Christmas tree. The kitchen had high end appliances, but I struggled with the basic inventory of tools and serving dishes. (I had to go out a buy several things on Christmas Eve). This property has impeccable views and manicured landscape, the side yard was filled with mature citrus trees with succulent oranges and lemons. Overall, this is an amazing one-of-a-kind property, and we can't to go back.

A terrific property

We had a great stay. There was a minor hiccup at the beginning that the responsive property manager, David, handled adroitly. This is a rare instance where the photos (which are great by themselves) don't fully capture how comfortable and gracious the house is. I like to read, and there were 5 or 6 places where I could settle in and read comfortably and with more than adequate lighting. And the outdoor pool area is just wonderful. We hope to return.

Wonderful!

In person, the home and grounds are even lovelier than the pictures! The layout is perfect for couples, as each bedroom has an en-suite bath and personal patios. David, the property manager provided us with exceptional service; great communication; and accommodated our every need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Property

We had an amazing time at Villa Butera. The grounds and the house are lovely, everything is well appointed. The beds and linens are super comfortable. You cannot go wrong with any of the rooms. We did have a few issues that were dealt with promptly. The 2 pieces of constructive feedback that I have about the property is that because it is so well appointed we did have to do a lot of juggling of moving things around to accommodate all of our items in the kitchen and common areas. The pool is lovely and has a wonderful waterfall feature. Unfortunately, that feature is only on for a couple of hours between 3:30 and 5:30. All of us wished that it could be on during the day when we were actually using the pool. Other than that, all of the guests had a great time and enjoyed the amenities of Villa Butera.

Great outdoor space

Had a great stay here. Kenny the property manager was helpful and responsive. Overall, fantastic spot to sit by the pool and be outside. The property alarm beeps constantly, one thing to note. Can make you crazy with a house full of people coming and going! Ask how to disable that feature when checking in.

The house was exactly as advertised. Every room looked like it came out of decorating magazine. The only negative was the hot tub was a little bit of a challenge to get into too based upon its design. That being said the pool and spa area was beautiful as were the outdoor surroundings..

Fairytale Oasis Fit for Royalty

I don't think I even have enough space to write all the glowing reviews I have for Villa Butera. I've been coming to Palm Springs since I was a child- staying in condos, boutique hotels, personal homes and nice Vrbo rental properties. Clearly, I didn't understand what a Palm Springs vacation could be... because once setting foot on the grounds of Villa Butera, I could never imagine wanting to stay ANYWHERE else. This pool is exquisite. While it looks stunning in the photos, they still somehow don't capture how meticulously it's designed. The shape and dimensions, the caliber of the concrete and stonework, the serenity of the waterfall, the perfect placement of the hot tub, along with ideal, lush landscaping that allows for the exact right amount of shade and direct sunlight... all of those elements make this *the* most remarkable residential swimming pool. We spent a majority of our time outdoors; lounging in the plush and cheery furniture, eating outside on the back patio table with heat lamps, or drinking coffee in our master bedroom adjacent rocking chairs on the private patio. That being said- for the time we did spend indoors we were ensconced in luxurious, fun, tasteful furnishings, sumptuous beds & textiles, and a perfectly appointed kitchen. Also, something that wasn't really discussed in the Vrbo description but ended up being a HUGE and surprising highlight for us; one of the most compelling, erudite and beautifully curated coffee book collections we've ever encountered. We all spent our evenings discovering new photographers, artists, and designers and drinking in all of the collections' eye candy. It was a real aesthetic treat. Kenny was the consummate host and property manager- his communications leading up to our visit were always prompt, helpful, and comprehensive. Upon our arrival Kenny greeted us and provided a lovely Welcome Basket from 'On The Mark', Palm Springs' gourmet market. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the items were delicious; just what was needed to start happy hour! Kenny's sense of humor and dry wit really came through in person, and we felt like his welcome tour of the home was an added amenity- not just business as usual. He also provided excellent recommendations for a local concierge service who helped make arrangements for us prior to our arrival. His recommendation was a lovely, professional, and incredibly accommodating person, who enhanced the overall trip. I'd give 50 stars, if I could.

Perfect Relaxation Vacation

The place is exactly like the pictures! The pool is AMAZING! We literally spent the entire weekend in the pool only time we came out was to eat, we got a chef to come and chef said the kitchen was top notch! This place does not disappoint you won’t regret staying here!

Heaven in Palm Springs

I cannot say enough about this house! The pictures do not do it justice. Kenny, the property manager, is great and always available for any question. Although just a couple of miles away from the house, it is amazingly quiet and private. My partner and I are looking forward to coming back. As a matter of fact, I have already booked the dates! I think that says it all.

Amazing Rental

This property was exquisite and perfectly manicured. As an interior designer myself, I was very impressed with the overall design and beauty of the home. The check in process was straight forward and Kenny greeted my parents to explain the property rules and provided a thoughtful gift basket. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were so nice I ended up purchasing them when I got home! The property is very private and quiet and each room is large. Highly recommend for a family gathering. Lastly, the property is in a great location and short drive to downtown. We had an amazing stay!

Palm Springs Paradise & Charm

The property was just ad advertised. It had more than you could ask for. Our favorite part was the mature landscape. There were so many places to escape and relax. We were there for 3 days and only ate out once because we never wanted to leave.

Stunning Desert Estate

This home is nothing short of spectacular! It far exceeded our expectations. The pictures are only a small glimpse of what this home has to offer. The artwork, the books, the decorating are over the top perfection. The indoor space is immaculate, and the outdoor space is simply heavenly! We spent our entire girls' weekend at the house and in the pool. We only left for evening dinners. It was close to local amenities and Kenny was spot on for all recommendations for dinner. We will be returning guests!
