Comfortable elegant and spacious 3-bedroom double apartment in the heart of the historic center, in an excellent location 2 minutes from Palermo Cathedral, easily accessible by any means: there is no better place to visit the city comfortably on foot. The apartment is on the second floor of an ancient palace of medieval origin, Palazzo Mango, where in the early 1500s the famous sculptor Antonello Gagini lived and had his workshop; the palace was completely renovated in the second half of the 1500s and then again renovated in the late 1700s in the version that has come down to us. Many illustrious people lived here: from the sculptor Antonello Gagini to the famous historian and heraldist Antonino Mango di Casalgerardo, after whom the palace is named, and finally the statesman Francesco Crispi, remembered by the large marble plaque placed on the main front of Via Vittorio Emanuele.
The apartment features the characteristic medieval arrangement of rooms around a small private central courtyard from which the interior rooms take light. Charmingly furnished and equipped with all amenities, the base price is for 2 people. Heating, air conditioning, fast wi-fi internet connection, washing machine, television, microwave oven, toaster, hair dryer, bed and bath linens, soap and detergent are included. The apartment has an area of about 120 square meters: it is accessed by climbing 2 flights of the Carrara marble staircase (23 steps in all); after the front door you go down 7 more steps. The apartment consists of a TV room with a sofa, a large living room with a large sofa, a dining room, a double bedroom, 2 bedrooms with two single beds; a nice independent eat-in kitchen equipped with all amenities with a table and a small balcony, two comfortable and nice toilets with bathtub, shower and bidet, recently renovated. Mandatory to agree in advance on time of arrival. Only place-conscious and non-noisy guests accepted; final cleaning and deposit required.
There is no elevator; because of the stairs, the apartment is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Your safety is close to our hearts: we offer outdoor video surveillance, outdoor night light on the street, light on in condominium spaces at night, video intercom, security lock. It is mandatory to turn off lights and all electrical equipment including air conditioners when you leave the house.
Electricity consumption fee over 10Kw/day for stays from 4 days: 1€ per kw. : upon arrival and departure know marked electric consumption. At check-in we will ask you to leave your ID/passport details for declaration to the police. Cleaning fee to be paid on arrival in cash: 50€ up to 4 persons or 70€ from 5 persons onwards. Municipal tourist tax to be paid in cash on arrival: 2€pp/night up to 4 nights and from 12 years old. Check-in until 10 pm, excluding overnight. Possibly required extra charge of 20€ per hour for delays after 10 pm, however to be agreed with the property. Prices for 2 guests per room, request for single use rooms have the cost of 10€ per night. For children up to 2 years old, a crib is provided at a cost of 10€ per night. Children over 2 years old, normal rate as adults.
