"I was very disappointed with my stay at Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island. The first issue occurred before we even got into our room. We arrived early and were told our room was available and ready, yet the hotel wanted to charge an additional $80 just to check in a few hours early. Charging that much for access to an empty room that was already prepared felt excessive and left a poor first impression. Unfortunately, things did not improve after check-in. "The property was under renovation. It smelled moldy, it humid. The carpet was ripped up. They did not have the handicap rooms we reserved. The pool was not open. The kitchen area where they would serve breakfast was dusty. The whole thing was awful! We ended up canceling out rooms and finding another place to stay. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful."

"The best thing about our small cramped room was the Roku TV. We had an accident and spilled a cup of coffee. I contacted the Bluff's Landing text number to advise we had spilled a cup of coffee. I told them we would need a couple of more bath towels because there were no paper towels to clean up the coffee. We never received any assistance from the property management.
