The kitchen has a surprising amount of functionality, not least of which is how attractive it is. We didn't cook since Alameda has excellent, affordable restaurants nearby, We slept well."

"We loved this apartment. The unit is beautiful and stylish and very quiet. The bathroom especially is full of luxurious high end touches (like double shower heads and heated floors). The porch features gorgeous flowers and lovely resident hummingbirds. The location is ideal: great coffee at Spike’s and markets for essentials right around the corner; everything the Castro has to offer nearby; easy access to Muni at Castro Station; a short lovely walk to Dolores Park and the Mission. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a cozy, recently constructed cottage with all modern amenities. It’s very well designed in every respect with lots of cupboard and storage space. There is parking in the driveway.The location couldn’t be better. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants along College Ave.Patty, the owner, lives in the front house and is very personable and accommodating. We’re looking forward to staying here again!"
