"My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. Each one was a great experience. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools. It’s also close to our son’s and the restaurants where we like to eat. Love that breakfast is included. Beds are very comfortable and they have a good sized TV. The beach was not too crowded either."

"I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days.
We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room.

"There was food under the sofa bed. We had asked for a sofa bed. It was not made up. When they made it up, they didn’t bring a pillow. It was constantly having to remind them about little things. On the second day, we realized there were insects in the room. They came and “fumigated “the room which resulted in us having pesticides on our pillows and our bedsheets and our clothing which made the room smell like pesticides for the remainder of our visit.
