"Thee was some kind of biting bug in my first assigned room. Upon complaint, I was given another room that had just been deeply cleaned and there were absolutely no bugs, but a chemical smell was lingering. Breakfast was good.Staff were good."

"The property itself was not the best. The parking lot needed some maintenance. The other issue was the shabby, put-together way that maintenance was done around the property. The vending machines were not to be found where the signs showed Ice/Vending Machine. Now to the room. Three light bulbs were missing from the lamps. One of the drawers on the dresser was broken. There were rust stains in and around the shower/tub. However, the location was perfect for restaurants and the historic downtown...

"Overall, and especially for the town, this is a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly, attentive to requests and restocking amenities, etc. The hotel has been remodeled and is very nice. I love the high ceilings, fans and overhead lights in rooms, and style. Some of the improvements may have been done improperly (i.e. a handrail fell out of the wall when used and was only attached in sheetrock with a screw) but nothing that effected us greatly. I did miss the more modern amenities...

"The room smelled strongly of mildew and humidity as soon as we walked in. The floors were dirty and very slippery, which felt unsafe. The beds also appeared unclean there were hairs on the sheets, making it seem like the bedding had not been properly changed or washed between guests. The bathroom was also dirty and not well maintained. Overall, it was very noticeable that the room was not properly cleaned after the previous customer checked out."

"Room was ok for 1 night. The property needs a lot of cleaning and updating . Bathroom had no shelf for storing your clothes during a shower and no room to place a makeup bag let alone any bathroom supplies . Don’t be fooled like I was just because it’s an IHG property "

"Staff was nice. Rooms were pretty worn. Torn fabric on chair. Had to ask for a do not disturb sign at front desk. Elevator needed cleaning, food crumbles on floor and were still there the next day. "

"Food and God only knows what else caked on the bed spreads. Cockroaches came home in our luggage!!!!!! We left a day early. Heard a guy come in the lobby and ask new linens for the bed because there was URINE on his!!!! The manager acted as though the man wad making it up!! There weren’t even phones in the rooms to call the front desk or 911 if the cockroaches overtook us!!! Absolutely DISGUSTING place!!!!"
