"Staff was friendly but when we got to the room there was no sheets for the pullout bed so we had to go down and get them. We were told they had no extra pillows. The pullout mattress was filthy and stained and only a couple inches thick. You could feel every single spring. We weren’t able to use the pool because they said they were waiting on a part for something to be fixed. "The Dilworth is a very well preserved building and our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed the area which was easily walkable with several points of interest nearby. We would certainly stay there again."

"Booked 2 nights here traveling for the festival, prices were hiked per night, but that is understandable during this time of the year. Arrived to the room, clearly used to be bedding from a smoking room as it had burn holes in it. Overall was clean other than all the hair in the tub and shower. But not bad for a budget hotel, just wear shower shoes. Where it really got bad started at 7 an with housekeeping banging on the door. I told them no thank you and went back to sleep. "The room was nice but the hallways were departed with peeling wallpaper and construction appeared to be going on. The hallways were not air conditioned and were very hot and humid. Guests should have been warned about the construction before booking. The room was good and the a/c in the room worked well but you were hot with a wave of heat in the inner hallways. Staff was nice"

"The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. "
