"It’s okay place if you are just staying for 1 night"

"My husband have come to Port Clinton every year since 2021. We usually have stayed here except for last year. Nice older property with good views of the lake across the street if you get a front facing room. Spacious rooms, but could use some updates with the furniture especially the mattresses! I like firm but the mattress was too hard and can feel the springs in some spots. Breakfast was fair with ok choices."

"Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond."

"Went for breakfast a few minutes after it was supposed to be open at 6:05. Nothing was put out yet. Staff saw us and then put down their phone and started to put things out slowly. We were on a time schedule so we could not wait. Won’t stay here again."

"Room very clean, smelled fresh. Only issue I had was there weren’t enough covers and the so-called blankets were like sheets to me. But that could just be a personal preference. The hotel was great and I’d stay here again."

"The room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable. The back outside area looked inviting with the games and fire pits, but we didn't have time to utilize it. The multiple trains passing through the night was not helpful but you guys can't control that. We had a regular king room and it would be nice to have some sort of stand or table to sit things on other than the bed or the floor."

"Pros: beds were queen size, mattress was firm but not uncomfortable. Pillows were fluffy and there were plenty of them. The room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave functioning. Room was a good size. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was good and there was a good amount of choices for the average human. Coffee was tasty. "Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs.
