"Our stay was wonderful. The full breakfast had several delicious choices and was presented beautifully with fresh flowers and linens on the table. We stayed in the carriage house and appreciated the large communal sitting room with refrigerator and microwave. My husband swam in the pool and commented how very clean it was. We discovered alot to do in this area and plan to return. Very convenient parking too."

"Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice."

"I thought the property was great for families because it did have the option of a basketball court, a tennis court and a volleyball court. There was also an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. My room was not comfortable at all. I took a two bedroom suite and the mattresses were terrible. It was very difficult to sleep comfortably. The tennis court was always in use. I would suggest they build more tennis courts and outdoor play space. The indoor pools and hot tubs were great. I would only suggest...

"No breakfast was provided. We waited from 7 to to 7:15, knocked on the office door, and called the phone number provided. No one answered and no one responded. The room was moldy, curtains were not fully closed, and tv did not have local channels. We also had multiple attempts to connect with Wi-Fi. We left the lodge at 7:30 am and had breadfast in downtown Lee. "

"Escaped into another world on each floor's hallway-the memorabilia and artwork spoke of an honest, New England history. The atmosphere was perfect for a genuine, original immersion into New England's past and LOVED going up and down the 150yr old elevator! Meals delicious w/excellent service. Only one issue we had: the AC in the room was difficult to adjust and were quite chilled even w/turning the thermostat up to 80 deg!!!!!!!!! as suggested by the front desk. Shall make this a yearly visit!"

"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires. The garden was wonderful with many flowers in bloom—very pretty. The breakfasts were tasty.
