"The house was very clean and very warm and dry! We did incur lots of rain & listening to it in the sunroom was quite nice. There were no "surprises" about the property which is good. Location was great. We were looking for something rural but not so far off the grid that we couldn't find anything. Would absolutely recommend a stay here."

"Lovely property!! As gorgeous as pictured and so relaxing to look out at the water. Property was very clean and had all the essentials. Check in was very easy and when we had trouble figuring out the stove the company answered the phone straight away and explained it. The only negative I would note is that the location in the Harbor is a little less luxurious than the house. The houses next door have oils of garbage and furniture in their gardens. "

"This was a perfect jump off place for exploring the Isle of Skye. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, including binoculars for observing the wildlife on the mountain side. We were blessed to have a beautiful clear night for star gazing- which for us was the highlight of our stay! Thank you both for the memories of a lifetime. Highly recommend staying here, and would gladly stay here again!"

"Accommodation was as represented in the listing, very clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location in town, only a few minutes to walk down to restaurants and a supermarket. "This was the perfect place to stay in Skye!! We were located a short drive away from Portree and enjoyed the stunning views of the water and town from afar and beautiful living space. I was traveling with my parents and they especially enjoyed the board games and puzzles available for rainy days and the lovely kitchen. It was everything we needed for our trip and more!"

"Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. "The cottage was just a pictured - quaint, well appointed, cozy, and quite. Our hostess was very pleasant, providing us a warm welcome and suggestions for dining and visits.
