"This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

"We had room 6 on ground floor which suited us it was a small double but very cosy and spotless. The tablet had all the info. Though as a digital dinosaur it took mea while to get used to it lovely toiletries and towels and brilliant fresh breakfast lived up to the reviews "

"Lovely hosts and welcome, we were able to check in early which was really appreciated on a cold day in January. Everything was sparkling clean, and the cooked breakfast and other breakfast options were all really good quality. Cherry on the cake was the included use of leisure facilities at the Old England. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to return. "

"The hotel was beautiful and all the wonderful festive decorations made it feel very special. Bar staff were wonderful. I loved sipping my gin by the warm crackling fire place. "Just enjoyed a 3 nights stay. Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, tastefu decor and really spacious. We arrived and the hallway had the most gorgeous smell, our room was absolutely spotless and had a lovely homely feeling. A gorgeous giraffe lamp in the Snug! The bathroom was really clean and great products. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend to friends. Also the position is perfect and we had onsite parking."
