If I can give NO star I will. Host takes forever to respond. The place looks inviting when posted however, when you get there neighborhood feels sketchy and so surrounding. As looking inside seems find until we were having dinner as we wanted to shower before resting and the nightmare comes! The shower drain clogged up and when we try to plunge it the water comes out of the sink. As we hope the host does some sort of solution unfortunately NONE. We went to relax and celebrate my birthday and then we got experience all of that! Therefore no hesitation we decided to leave the place.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and we really enjoyed this residence. When we walked in, it felt comfortable and welcoming. The outside was furnishes with lemon trees, pigeon peas, banana tree, papaya trees, and passion fruit. It was great my daughter had room to run outside in the yard along with our dog. I highly recommend this property to check-out. It's a home away from home. Property owner was very helpful with any questions. Very prompt on responses. Jah Bless

1-Star Review and thats being generousOur experience with this property was extremely disappointing. The host canceled our reservation 30 minutes after we were supposed to check in, claiming there was a water leak. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. The property had been double-booked , and the other guests arrived at the same time we did—just as confused and shocked as we were.The host was not honest or reliable, and I would not trust them for future stays. Thankfully, VRBO’s customer service was outstanding and quickly helped us secure another place to stay. But the host’s behavior caused a stressful and unnecessary situation.I would not recommend booking this property.

Messaged host on arrival day and he was quick to respond. He gave me his number in case there were any issues. The hot water in the shower does work. You have to turn it on just enough for water to come on and it will get hot. The shower door is not sealed at bottom and water will leak out on the floor. There are no remotes for TVs in bedrooms due to a previous renter taking them. It was a perfect place to lay your head after long day at parks.

My stay was awful. He tried to scam me out of 65 for an early check in fee, which he told me it was 25, when we had a conversation. Then charged me 40 on Vrbo. Next to the floors was extremely slippery and sticky from cleaning products. Also, the shower was filling up like a tub and the floor was completely covered in water. Last host was very rude and communication was horrible.

I rented this property with the intention of having a gate for my dogs but the gate is totally broken and they can easily get out if they wanted too. They ask for you to take your shoes off at the door but the floor was completely gritty and dirty. The sink also has drainage issues and they ask you to wash your dishes which is fine but the water overflowing as i am washing was nasty. Shower also leaks ALOT of water. You literally have to take a quick shower if not you’ll have Lake Michigan in the bathroom. The yard is hella sus so be careful if you have your dogs walking around there’s a lot of unnecessary garbage.

Not quite as expected

Overall it was a decent stay. The house itself was clean upon arrival, but we soon found wet towels in the washer and no paper towels provided (which was fine, we bought our own). Communication with the host was subpar, I only attempted to contact him when we arrived because I was having difficulty with the lockbox but was sent straight to voicemail and my texts were never responded to, eventually I figured it out but I certainly did not appreciate not being responded to when I needed assistance and only texted with a pet fee reminder and with checkout instructions. The shower was quite small and flooded which wasn’t a great surprise and we found a large cockroach in the living room on our second day of the stay (this is Florida so it’s not uncommon for one to sneak in from outside, but just a heads up). Other than those things, I enjoyed my stay. The decor was very nice and homey, the WiFi was good, all appliances worked, and the beds were comfy. The house is located in an optimal area, nearby Millenia mall and not a far drive from relevant areas.

Looks Can Be Deceiving

The outside will definitely scare you with the whole junkyard vibe, but inside awaits a beautifully put together little cottage! It was comfortable and perfect for our small group! Located close to everything we wanted to do! The host was awesome too! Provided immediate responses to all my inquiries! We sat out on the porch early mornings and late nights, without any incidents! I would highly recommend!

Nice getaway!

My son and I stayed at the tiny house. It was clean. The shower was very small for big / tall guys . I like really hot showers so the water was not hot enough for me. Fancy bidet toilet. The kitchen sink had lots of hot water. There was a very fancy washer and dryer in the unit. Nice refrigerator ,stove , and microwave. 3 tv’s but I never could figure out how to work them. Maybe a step by step list on the wall would be helpful. Someone put their dishes in the dishwasher and forgot to turn it on. Good friendly neighbor! Overall very nice unit!

The host was very polite and overall we had a decent stay. The bed I slept in was EXTREMELY hard. The shower leaks. It has been leaking for quite a while as you can see some water damage along the baseboard. We were also surprised by the number of vehicles parked in the yard. This is the first place I’ve stayed in where I can say that I won’t return.

Not as advertised - poor communication

The property looks cute and quaint from the pictures. The inside certainly was pretty. The host showed up to the property, without any form of notice, to "show" a painting he was selling. He left without notice to us, again, meaning the fence was left open and unsecured. Additionally, the landlord never advised that he had an additional rental property directly behind this house, which is fenced and locked. It's not in the best of neighborhoods, so when a strange person is walking around inside the fenced area, peering into your vehicle, it's shocking. Combined with one of the door locks being broken, it was unsettling and unsafe. Several calls, texts, and messages to the host with no response resulted in a very unsafe and uncertain scenario where one would need to pack their bags and leave immediately. Supposedly being fixed, but our stay was horrendous and dangerous, and the host was a terrible communicator.

Other rental canceled

Our other property was canceled due to problem at the property, so this was a very last minute change. This property was clean and had some nice upgrades. There were also some peculiar aspects like very low quality bedding, very limited towel supply, and some closet and cabinet doors that need attention. The neighborhood made me uncomfortable after sunset, and we had to drive to other locations to walk.

Cute and clean

Perfect little cottage for our two night stay. Close to all the attractions and shopping, very clean, and my husband loved the upgrades. Fully fenced with lock drive in gate and had TV's in every room. Would definitely stay again.

Good

The check in process was easy, and the property was easy to find, even at night. The neighborhood seems quiet, we had no issues with noise. The property is pretty close to all the main attractions and restaurants. When we arrived, things were clean and as shown in the pictures. The only thing I feel was left out of the listing was how small the shower is. It is very tight, and if you are even slightly larger than the average person, you may need to shower sideways. Other than that, the house was as expected.
