"Super old property. They have glass doors that face ocean, not the windows. That seems like a loophole to claim oceanfront rooms. The room was very stinky. It smelled like dog's urine. Would never stay here again."

"My family of three and I have stayed here every time we have visited Gold Beach over the past 4+ years. We love the location and staff and have stayed here many times. But I’ve been disappointed that the fact that the pool and hot tub never seem to be in working order. It ls advertised as having an indoor heated pool and spa but the pool is never heated and I think the hot tub has worked once in our at least a dozen stays. "The staff was great, very helpful. I left two items behind and they arranged to have it shipped to my home so I didn't have to return and pick it up. My only complaint was the sheets had some black marks on them, very small, that my wife noticed. The sheets were clean, they had been washed. "This was a spacious room with a great tv. The bed was a little lumpy and the room had an unpleasant odor, but not so strong as to make one leave. I would probably not spend another night there. The young man at the check in desk was very pleasant and helpful. However, if you are on a tight budget this room would work.
