"I would give a better rating but our experience with a deeply stained mattress and how it was handled was poor. Upon arrive I pulled back the covers on the bed as I always do. I could see through the sheet that the mattress had a stain. I lifted the sheet and the mattress had several dark orange stains that were quite large. the mattress cover didn't fit the mattress, and the stains could be seen easily though the sheet. "This motel has recently been completely redone so it’s literally like brand new. The room was large with a small kitchenette, a large bathroom with plenty of counter space. Just across the highway is old town with multiple restaurants including one with a coffee shop that opens at 6am and serves great coffee with an array of breakfast options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I wish we could have spent another night but time wouldn’t allow. A gem of a place!"

The kitchen was just the small dorm room refrigerator and a microwave, a tiny sink. Not a kitchen just normal in room microwave dinners. Also no elevator but we were aware of this as its an older motel. Swimming pool was nice and hot tub worked and was clean and shocked several times per day. "Very dated room. Online the pictures did not really match what we had. There was basically only one lounge chair and 2 dining table chairs to sit on. TV was tiny and only one person had a decent chair to sit on.The bathroom only had a pocket door with no latch on it. The kitchen was very basic, small, but functional. Beds were comfortable. Location was very convenient."

It look like the cleaning staff was also the front desk staff and although they answered questions they did not seem to want to be there. And the frond desk would be closed during the day. The spa was closed permanently. It felt like this place is in the process of closing down."
