"Far enough out of the main town, it was quiet and even a bit wilderness-like. We rented a room (not cabin) but it felt like a cabin (except for a shared wall.) Wooden walls and ceiling, gave it a rustic feel but for us, the bed was the main attraction. Firm but cushiony, the mattress was supportive in all the right ways with soft pillows with just enough support to keep your head and neck in alignment. We slept like logs. The heating system was accurate and so quiet I had to feel for air...

"The outside of the building is weathered, but the room was very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is within walking distance of all attractions in the downtown area including great whale and seal sightings! Great option for the price!"

"Pretty much perfect all around. The room we stayed in was basic and perfectly clean. The hotel had recently been remodeled. This hotel is on the main drag so there was a little traffic noise (I always travel with a white noise generator for just such instances!) but not too bad. The location is in the middle between Nye Beach (ocean) and the bay; we walked to those location. We made the quick drive over the bridge to the aquarium, marine center and Rogue Brewery for dinner. "We were really happy staying here, it’s in a great location and the man working the front desk was very nice when we were there. The room was really clean in my opinion compared to other cheaper motels I have stayed at in the past, there’s old carpet in the rooms but other than that we had no complaints at all, I also felt safe staying here and there didn’t seem to be weird people lurking around which is also a plus. Would recommend to stay here if you are wanting to stay on a budget! "
