"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"This was our first time staying at Lydia Mountain Lodge. I chose this particular place due to convenient location (10 minutes from Skyline Drive) and unforgettable views! "First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!"
