Parking policy needs tweaking

20-30 parking spaces were empty every night and they wouldn’t let me buy a 3rd parking pass Had to pay $150 to park down the street

BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED

This place was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Orange Beach is beautiful. This was our first time staying in Alabama. The unit was perfect for my 75 yr. old mother and my 14-year-old teens. I could see them from the pool and beach so well. Didn't have to worry about them and could relax...

Best trip!

We absolutely loved the condo. It was a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for my 18 month to be able to run around and play outside. The outdoor and indoor pool were both close and the ocean wasn’t a far distance away. We can’t wait to go back!

Vacay with Friends

This is my 3rd time renting Romar Place106. The layout, furnishings, and cleanliness are great but the location to beach and restaurants are fantastic!!We absolutely love this property & will continue to make it our go-to place!

Perfect location for us

This condo was exactly what we'd hoped and more. Check in was easy even though we arrived late. Ground floor corner unit with grassy area and partially fenced was perfect for the little ones to play while the adults visited on the patio. The water was actually closer than it appeared in the pictures, and we were super close to both the outdoor and the indoor pool. I highly recommend.

Annual Sisters (and our husbands) Vacation

The condo was very nice and extremely clean! The refrigerator needs to be updated or at least have the shelf replaced that is missing, but other than that it was great!! However, the property management for The Rimar Place” was extremely strict and rude. When I asked them for suggestions to have my sister park her vehicle , since we all drove in from 3 different locations, I was he didn’t know, and we would need to move her vehicle or be towed. I had to call the office for them to give me a website to find locations to park. My sister and brother in law smoke and the smoking area was in the direct sun even though there was tables that could have had an umbrella in it to be put up or something to get the smokers out of the sun. Most the time, when they management made their rounds to check the grounds they wouldn’t speak, and when I asked if the lady was looking for something she had lost from her balcony, she just replied “no, I’m picking up cigarette butts” which never came from our condo, but the ones above us. We had toys, and food fall from the upper floors balconies. But, she implied that we through that stuff out there. Now mind you, my oldest sister is 78 and I’m the youngest at 62 … I think we would know better than to throw Items in the grass. Due to the rudeness of the staff, I don’t plan on returning to The Romar Place” even though the condo was perfect for our family.

Wonderful Place!

This place has amazing views! It has easy access to both pools and beach. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. Waking up to the sun and beach view was fantastic. I left my curtain open every night just to see the view every morning! :) This place is wonderful for families with kids and grandparents. We took both and it was so nice to be on ground floor. Didn't have to lug anything up and down stairs or elevators. Just walk straight out to the pool and beach. Would definitely recommend and return! The kids wanted us to buy the place and live there. LOL :) Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean, exactly like pics online and many many beach accessories! The grandparents said it's the best place they've ever stayed and will be telling friends. Just a wonderful vacation here! =) Thanks so much!

Right on the Beach

The condo had a beautiful view on the beach and we loved being able to walk right out our patio door to the gate that lead to the boardwalk and beach - 5 minutes was great. The condo was very comfortable, beds were great! Full washer and dryer were nice as well. The bathroom fixtures could use some updating, but we would definitely stay here again. Also, the condo facility was good... parking was easy and there was an indoor pool and hot tub which were nice as the weather/ocean is still pretty cool during spring break. The grill outside our condo was also a nice to have!

Pleasant and relaxing

We very much enjoyed our stay. A little noisy at times with necessary constructions going on in the unit and comlpex next door but understandable. The daily walks along the seashore always relaxing and refreshing. Grateful for the easy access.

Kick back and relax

Perfect end unit on ground floor. Beautiful view of ocean over looking the pool. Kitchen equipped with basic needs to prepare meals but condo so close to good restaurants you dont to have spend time cooking. Nice to have breakfast in and dinners out.

no beach access

The property was great, just what we signed up for, EXCEPT, when we arrived, we noticed the boardwalk was being torn down. The workers failed to come build the new one for three days. The property manager, stacked pool lounge chairs against the gate and forbid us to exit from our condo. She insisted we walk out the parking lot, down the street, and down a board walk two condos down. (where incidently they were building a new fence, using electric power tools.) It made for a difficult trip. The property manager was BEYOND unprofessional. Had we known our beach access was closed, we would have chosen another condo. Beach Getaway sent us restaurant gift certificates for dinner one night to try and ease our discomfort.

Coming back!

We had a great time at Romar Place overall. The property is in a convenience area of Orange Beach, close to all shopping conveniences and best of all close to the beach. Our unit work great for my family and will be returning for sure. Beach, indoor/outdoor pools, and grills were in front of our unit.. The unit was clean, but not in good shape. The management staff was very helpful in resolving the repair that was needed on the back sliding glass door. Alex was very hands on and help a lot. Back sliding door was not being used because the door handle had been pulled off. It was very difficult to open. The handle on the door was replace, however the door is very hard to open still. The Unit needs more repairs. 1. Several electrical outlets in the bedrooms do not work (middle and back). 2. Middle bath shower head mount is broke. 3. The dishwasher's lower rack casters are broke and does not slide. The rack does not slide back in it's place. 4. The Kitchen's cookware and dinnerware does not accommodate 8 people. Much of the cooking utensils are in bad condition and unable to use. 5. The mattress are old and smell. They need to be replaced. We pulled out the sofa, found that there were sheets stuff in inside and smelled. 6. Carpet looked clean, but smelled.

Great location!

Great property! Loved being on the first floor. Check in was super easy. Apartment was a great size for my family! The only negative was the sliding door was SO hard to open and close! I would definitely recommend the property!

Really enjoyed our frist trip to orange beach. The beds could have been a little more comfortable and maybe add to the cooking items. Also will have to say that my grandparents didn't come on the trip because all my paper work said smoke free facility but there was people smoking all over even had to pick cigarette butts off the grass area a few times

The renting process was good. The property was not cleaned to my satisfaction when I arrived.

I loved the location. Working with the rental company was satisfactory. But the cleanliness issue would give me pause to rent again. This condo needs some deep cleaning and TLC to make it comfortable.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed being on the first floor. The beds were all comfy and the view was great. The indoor and outdoor pools were great. Beach access isn’t perfect. Some constructive criticism: The sliding glass doors are very difficult to operate daily and kids absolutely can not open and close them. The appliances are all ancient and need replaced. Although everything is in working order except the oven. You must heat it to 425 to cook anything . The microwave above the stove doesn’t work so they have added a second working micro on the counter which takes up valuable workspace. We really enjoyed our week. Thank you for the experience.

Great Location

Property is in a great location. However, appliances are very old and fridge definitely needs replacing. The patio and location of unit is awesome but this place needs some refreshing and updating.
