"This is a beautiful apartment in the owners home, very elegant, comfortable and clean. The location is great for visiting temples in the north and west of the city. It has a parking spot off the street in front of the house. The couple that owns it are very kind and helpful. "

"The location was perfect for our stay in Kyoto! Location close enough to the main station but still hidden in a quiet neighborhood. There are multiple transportation options nearby to take you to wherever your kyoto adventures may take you. The staff was quick and kind enough to let us store our luggages before check in and even offered to deliver them to the house while we were out. They spoke English which was extremely helpful. "Clean rooms, towel service with water bottle everyday, property was quiet and well maintained. Lacking closet/dresser/hanger space. No dryer, just washer, but was provided a fan and hanging rack for drying. Loved the soaking tub!"

"Although this property was an old nice machiya they updated it with a nice bathroom. But the beds were really comfy. I didn’t care for the location because it was far from bus and train station. It’s a long hot walk with all our luggage. Overall I probably wouldn’t stay again because of location but the inn was really great. "
