"Extremely good location. Quite dirty under the bed."

"Our experience at Kyoto Machiya was excellent. The place is amazing, the location is good and the staff were extremelly nice. "

"Absolutely amazing oasis in the heart of crowded Kiyomizu. Beautiful, tranquil, clean guest house with tons of space."

"The rooms were very clean and was easy to communicate with the owner. The location makes it easy to get to places by walking. Lots of food spots around the area."

"This location is at a peaceful part of Kyoto. The train nearby wasn't too loud contrary to other reviews. In the mornings, it does get very bright in the bedroom though. Some parts of the building was also a bit dusty However, it is very spacious for 2 people. The washing machine and dryer was also very convenient and a life saver at times. The amenities provided were also very good."

"こだわりの詰まった空間。"

"This was an awesome house!!!"

"I was very satisfied with the experience of living in a traditional Japanese house. The sensor lights were also comfortable. There was an air purifier with a humidifier and a good number of air conditioners. The only disappointment was that the towel rack next to the washing machine was broken."

"Ultimate luxury."

"Exceptional host and fantastic location."

"La casa es muy bonita, está en una calle súper tranquila y accesible al autobús, es una casa muy tradicional súper agradable"

"O local muito organizado. Havia chá de cortezia. Uma banheira em madeira, o que foi uma experiência diferente, gostei. Quartos amplos e com uma boa TV. Se você gostar de quarto com claridade da luz do sol .logo cedo"

"Comfortable, quiet, and gave a great traditional vibe that was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The staff were friendly and communicated well, made the whole process easy. When we come back to Japan this company will be the first place we check!"
