"We had a wonderful time in Olympia! Trail House was an excellent choice for us--it was a perfect jumping off place for all the trails we walked and trips to Mount Rainier, Poulsbo/Olympic National Park, and Seattle. The parks and trails around Olympia are amazing, as are the little shops and restaurants. Trail House was clean and well equipped for our needs--including a first aid kit and backpack cooler bag!"

"Beautiful houseboat with great view of the capital and water. Super clean and perfectly stocked for a comfortable and accommodating stay! Awesome deck off bedroom w plenty of seating, comfy bed with a/c both upstairs and down. Good food, drinks and fun atmosphere at the restaurant/bar at the marina. Be sure to ask Chris for lock box details at the entry to the dock. Highly recommend!"

"The house is amazing, access to the water and dock are great. The kitchen is really nice, but it’s not as well-stocked as the kitchens in other houses we’ve rented. I love to cook, so I may expect more than the average renter. There are no Tupperware or bowls with lids for leftovers, no bags to store anything either (I’m used to at least sandwich-sized ziplocs). Cooking for 9 was tricky, but we made it work. The beach is rocky, so shoes are recommended. Our 10-year-old was exploring the water...

"Words cannot describe how amazing this house is. Although the pictures are great on the listing they still can’t compare to the reality of being on these beautiful grounds. Magical is the best word to describe it. There is so much to do that two nights just wasn’t enough. We take several girl’s trips a year and we all agreed that this house outshines all the rest. We will definitely be coming back here time and time again. Do not pass by this gem. I promise you won’t regret it."

"Beautiful setting. The provided kayaks were great. We enjoyed paddling out into Carr Inlet and were joined by sea lions, bald eagles and more. I would add a couple more adult life vests as the provided ones were more for a family of 4 with kids, not 4 adults but that's a minor thing. The cabin is great and evenings were great in the hot tub or using the fire pit. A tv in the living room might be a plus, but who needs it with the deck and more. Easy to find. Secluded from traffic, but close...

"My daughter has been struggling with health issues for 8 months.She is getting ready for surgery and we needed a getaway where she could just rest. This place was perfect.From the moment you walk in you can tell this place is designed with relaxation in mind.The bottom floor is truly geared towards kids, us adult kids too , with the shuffleboard, arcade games and tv. There is even a little reading nook with games, books and puzzles.The second floor is amazing. The pictures don't even do it...

"Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful area, lots of trees. A little drive to the lake, but far enough away that you're away from other people. It was a nice escape. My family had such a great time for my birthday trip...we appreciated all the toys, games and extra availibilities around the cabin. Beds, furniture, extra pillows and blankets were all super cozy. I didn't want to leave! Haha."
