"Overall clean"

"Sprinklers and smoke alarm went off at 1 a.m. causing two floors to be evacuated, After a 45 minute wait we were allowed back in our room. Needless to say, ruined our stay."

"Too much noise with the Emergency door used in the morning by many guests. Breakfast was really bad. Almost nothing."

"Super nice staff. I found this place after a paid booking was cancelled at another hotel. A little further out that I would like but it was worth it. I got to check out some local bars in Charlotte. A big shout out to Frank. He checked me in and the other staff was very friendly. If you want something clean, inexpensive and not a bad drive to MSU, check out this place."

"My first time to Marshall and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was quick and very pleasant. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I didn’t have time to eat the next morning but it looked lovely, Checkout was a breeze! I’m putting the contact information on my phone book. I’ll definitely return there. My grandson is a student at the University of Olivet, so I’ll definitely be back!"

"The room was not clean and the staff was not rest Respect"

"Drove 2 hours to Hotel and was informed by staff there that Expedia's computers were not communicating properly with theirs. They could not honor reservation confirmation, and charged me for the stay, I had to go to a different hotel. Now Expedia states it will take 10 days to get the charge reversed. Residence Inn staff simply just sent me on my way. Not even helpful to call around yet they gave a confirmation and everything. "

"Great breakfast with many items. Fresh coffee and waffle as well as wraps and items for health conscious people. Their breakfast offered more items than usually offered in hotels of this kind. Host Jennifer is very kind and gracious "

"Toilet paper holder was broken in room 424. Staff was very polite and accommodating! Would definitely come back again."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable"

"The only good thing was it was next store to the casino. TV went out and I called the front desk to ask for help and the gal said, I don't know anything about it and I am the only one here. Then when taking a shower in the morning we found out they have sulphur water, didn't even feel like you took a shower!! Could not get out of there fast enough. Oh and we are in our 70's and they gave us a 2nd floor room and there is NO ELEVATOR! Will NEVER STAY there again!"
