"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel welcomed my dog for no additional fee. It was pretty quiet so she wasn't too on edge which helped. There's not a fenced area for them to run free a bit which would be a nice addition but not a deal breaker. No breakfast but right next door to McD's. My only complaint was there was a VERY strong marijuana smell in the hallway which was fun to explain to my kids. It could still be smelled in our room but only slightly. We'd still stay...

"A great apartment in a very peaceful community. Lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Apartment was just as described and Palmer is an excellent host. A great location to visit, Churchill Downs, distillery tours or other attractions. "

"Overall staff was helpful, although check-in was complicated. Was initially advised the room I paid for wasn’t available because I booked through a third party (Expedia), but it got resolved. Also, there’s a club in really close proximity to the hotel. The music was so loud, I could hear the words in my room, on the 6th floor. The hotel itself is beautiful, has a rooftop bar with views of the city and the location makes it easy to get everywhere by foot. "
