We spent 11 days at this magnificent villa, which is generously fitted out like a home, not like some holiday homes which are sparse and empty.
The description in the listing was accurate, and the pictures don't do it justice - it's even more beautiful. The place is immaculately clean, spotless!
The owner is lovely, very gracious.
Would have preferred to not have to pay for electricity at the end of the stay. It should be included in the price. Leaves you wondering the whole time if you are going to be knocked with a huge bill at the end.
The area is beautiful, although the ride from Battipaglia to the house is a turn-off - the road is a one-lane slow-driving road, with gritty towns along the way which are an eyesore. Once you head towards the house it improves.
Agropoli is cute - nothing exciting, but we took trips to the Amalfi Coast, Ravello (!), Pompei and Vesuvius and down south to Palinuro. Definitely alot to see and do.
We very much enjoyed it and recommend it whole-heartedly.
