"This is your typical low price motel. Having stayed at another Motel 6 enroute, the same decor was in this property. The room was very spacious with a good view of the historical bridge and Rouge river. The king bed was shoved into a corner, with only one side accessible. We did discover it was movable providing access to both sides, however that put a wall lamp about a foot into the head of the bed. I had read there is no AC and to take a fan. That proved to be a wise suggestion. We stayed 5...

"Keeping in perspective that this a motel not a five star hotel, The Lewis River Inn was everything we needed. Staff was courteous and professional. Premises very well kept and clean."

"This is an older property, but these owners are trying hard. The lobby offered a quaint shopping experience and had a water bottle refill station. In addition, the room had up-to-date amenities and a redone bathroom. Out the back door is the 804 Trail, which provided an excellent walking path along the top of the Beach cliffs."

"Electricity cut out twice and killed the AC, so room got very hot. Then it stayed on but the lights flickered constantly. Didn't seem all that safe. Otherwise it was what you would expect of a low budget motel."
