"Staff was friendly, had good coffee ready out in the lobby very early in the morning. My wife was impressed that they had soft water to shower in. Her hair turned out amazing for photos. We spent much time at their cozy lounge in the evening after all the hiking. Had breakfast across the street...it was excellent. The hot tubs were set at 104 degrees that evening which is commendable. And ofcourse their location in the heart of that beautiful canyon is remarkable. I am willing to pay more to...

"Lovely historical hotel. Room was nicely appointed. There is an elevator ( surprising for an older hotel) it is locked down in the evening tho. Casino in the lobby but that is typical for Deadwood. "

"It’s what you’d expect from a roadside Motel. The room had a tiny unpleasant order to it… I have a sensitive nose. I had some air freshener so problem solved. I run a KOA campground so I understand the challenges in this type of bussiness. The decore could use some updating but that’s really nitpicking. For my purposes. It did just fine. You guys are doing a good job. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise… but as we both know we have to do that from time to time. "
