"I had several issues with this property. I do not normally post negative comments but I feel that it is necessary in this case. First, and most importantly, I requested a soft pillow. The existing pillows were rock hard, very heavy, and unusable. I was told that they just ordered these new pillows but did not order anything other than hard ones. "Wonderful place, about an hour from the east gate of Yellowstone. Breakfast was really good, room was clean, staff was really helpful and nice. Adult only pool from 10P to midnight, which was a great quiet way to end a long and wonderful day in Yellowstone."

"This Inn was delightful- from the flowers, to the complimentary milk and cookies, to the video games, to the esthetic of the rooms. The pools and hot tubs were a big plus. Sorry we were only there two days. Definitely recommend."

"Super friendly staff. Hotel has rustic feel to it which was great. Staff lady named Marilyn cooked omelets for everyone at breakfast time. Very rare to stay at a hotel these days where a staff member does that."

"After a very rough day, this was a wonderful place to lay your head down for the night. The room was wonderful, recently remodeled and very clean. The beds were firm and really comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was great and all the staff were extremely pleasant. I will definetly stay here again and recommend to family and friends headed through Rapid City"

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. We trailered or motorcycle into town and she was extremely accommodating with us needing a little extra space for our SUV, trailer, and motorcycle. I was expecting the house to be much smaller than it was but it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! We will definitely stay again if we come back to Custer!"

"Staff was good and attentive. Hotel itself is outdated. Very basic, no frills. Room wasn’t clean for the most part, moved the chair in the room and found a full pack of ritz crackers on the floor and an unopened cowtail candy on the side of the bed. not sure how long that had been there. Lights and corners had noticeable dirt collecting. The beds were horrible. Very lumpy. Back hurt every morning during the 5 day stay."
