So to start this review off, I do understand that this is a motel and not a hotel. My friend recommended it and said it was inexpensive and a nice place, so I decided to try it out.
I will start by saying that the views were phenomenal and the beds were very comfortable. The size of the room was extremely large.
Unfortunately, the room was very dirty and smelled of dog pee. When we went to the office they gave us a can of Lysol. I will say that the bed and the bathroom, besides the walls, were clean.
House keeping came in a couple of times, but they just dumped the trash and change the towels.
There was a door that connected to the room next to us that was not locked and we were afraid that the people in the room next to us could come into our room. The people next to us were smoking marijuana, and it came through the door into our room.
The carpet was torn up from the pets that had been allowed in the room. We found various items on the floor and it was crunchy, so it obviously had not been vacuumed. The walls were dirty and had various things hanging like there had been pictures or something, but they had been taken out.
The curtains did not fit the window and we had a hard time trying to close them where people couldn’t see in.
Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience, but definitely not the best. We will probably not stay again. The pictures on the website showed a remodeled room, which we did not get.
