Relaxing Soundside condo with dock, pool, short walk to the beach!

Sleep 'soundly' by the sound, have your morning coffee on the porch, watch the sunsets from the dock, or stroll the short walk to the beach from this 'getaway away from it all' condo. Conveniently located on the first floor, it has all the comforts of home. Linens and towels provided but must be washed and dried before leaving. You are welcomed to bring your own if so desired. A fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, flat screen TV with bedrooms refurbished with new mattresses all add to your relaxing vacation. There is a king size bed in master and queen in second bedroom. The island offers all you could want with putt putt, ice cream, several restaurants, bike/kayak rentals, fishing pier, arcade, souvenir shops, and convenience store. OIB has a new playground at the New Town Center Park for all ages. The park has a tot lot, fitness stations, basketball, splash pad, bocce and pickleball. Seven miles of paradise and you can bike from one end of the island to the other, or take your chairs and just 'chill' on the beach. Cross the bridge and travel 18 miles to Calabash, the Seafood Capitol of the World, travel 45 minutes to Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Landing for shopping or take a day trip to Wilmington or Ft. Fisher. For the golfing enthusiast, there are 20 golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Conveniently located on the island's west end, the condo offers that quiet family vacation. It's the perfect vacation experience.

Small Family Beach Getaway

We love OIB and only 3 adult family members could travel this year and the size was perfect. This location had a beautiful view of the sunset over the sound with a patio swing- perfect for wine, charcuterie and chatting. It wasn’t a very far walk to the beach, also a nice pool and had everything we needed for a home away from home. Local restaurants are excellent! Beach was perfect! Great neighbors.

Great place - We enjoyed our stay!

The location was great! Just a short 2 block walk to the beach. The place was exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and convenient, and mostly quiet. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The pool on the property was fantastic. Perfect temp, rarely crowded, and I was really surprised it had an 8-foot deep area, which my kids also loved. I also enjoyed the porch with the swing in the mornings and evenings. We only had one issue during our stay, which was taken care of promptly. Denice was very responsive. Overall, a great experience.

Nice but no frills.

Comfortable place . Very comfortable beds. Hot water not very hot in evenings. Kitchen fairly well stocked with cooking supplies, pots , pans, All in all , id say 4 stars.

Pros and Cons

Basically, this was a nice property....great location. An easy walk to the beach, right next to the pool, the balcony has a swing where you can see the sun set over jink's creek. Small TV......There is no ice maker and there is 2 full bathrooms; however, there is a sink in one bedroom and the shower and toilet are between the bedrooms....bathroom layouts are not the best....

Great place to relax after spending a day at the beach

Everything was great at this location. I would definitely return to this location if we go to Ocean Isle Beach again.

Ok place to stay

The place needs a major renovation as everything is old. One of the showers wouldn’t get hot as well. Appliances etc need updating and there were ants around the sink. Location is good but olld buildings.

Ocean Isle vacation

We would’ve liked more updates but the condo was very nice. The down sides was all the “owners” very opinionated to guest and there needs to be more guest parking. If you are looking for a cute place to get away we would definitely recommend.

Great week at Ocean Isle Beach

We enjoyed our stay and the condo was clean, comfy, and convenient. The only issue we had was charging our golf cart since the buildings don't have outside receptacles except on the back decks.

Fun family vacation

We had a great week staying in this condo for our family beach trip! Loved the beachy feel with the decorations around the condo, location to the beach was great with a nice sound view out back. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck on the porch swing after a day at the beach/pool. Denice quickly responded when we had questions. One of which was that the bathrooms were not cleaned before our stay & we had to clean them ourselves. She apologized right away and said her cleaning lady had come that day so she’d talk to her. The mattresses in both rooms could use updating as they were very worn, and uncomfortable. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Thank you Denice!

Wonderful time at the beach, biking & kayaking

As the title says, we had lots of fun, so bring your outdoor toys! Even when it rained, we played inside, had drinks on the covered porch while it rained around us, and just waited for the storms to pass. First time we ever rode our bikes in the beach — what fun! Watch and mind the tides if kayaking, and it’s amazing! Hosts were great, and kindly returned/mailed the hats we left hanging on their hat hooks ;)

Bright and Comfy

This is a delightful condo! It is bright, comfortable, and convenient. We loved having coffee on the deck each morning and I even took a nap in the swing! The view of Jinks Creek is lovely and the sunset views were gorgeous. We were completely satisfied with this rental experience and would definitely recommend it! It is an excellent value! Hope we can stay here again!

Love this Condo! Perfect location!

We had the best time in this condo. We had never been to Ocean Isle before, but fell in love with this beach. This was the PERFECT place to get away from it all. The condo sits right on the sound and was a short, 2 block walk to the public beach access. The condo had plenty of room for us and our teenage son and had all the amenities we needed. The Owner, Toni, was a pleasure to work with and made it all so easy for us. We will definitely be back!

Ocean Isle

We stayed 4 nights at the end of Sept 15 and found this unit to be fab, the unit was clean, quiet and had the best swing chair on the veranda ( where I spent most of my time) it had views inlet and a jetty to fish and crab off ( caught some nice size crabs.. Yum) the unit had everything you could want while staying and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Our only downfall was having to wash and dry your sheets and towels before you leave it took forever as the machine and dry were small and it was really humid so took 3 hour of hanging around, we would have preferred to pay for this to be done.
