The hotel lacked in a lot. The lady who checked us in gave us high hopes but sadly that lasted until we opened the door to our room. Immediately we noticed that there was a spill near the entertainment center that hadn't been touched. And then candy on the floor and other things that needed to be vacuumed. Not to mention the hair in the shower. We called the cleaners to our room three times before we even settled in. The mattress sunk in the middle leaving me with neck, shoulder pain and a terrible headache-it most definitely needed to be changed. The same spills and dirt remained untouched outside of the elevators for the two days we were there. They were sold out the second day so we couldn't move rooms. The restaurant's menu was sparse, and food was just OK as I'd expect at a hotel.
I mentioned these things again to the front desk at check out and all we were offered was that they would talk to the manager.
On our drive home, a man called me to discuss and told me he'd added 30k rewards points to our profile for our inconvenience. Big deal- that didn't make up for our experience that we paid over $300 a night for in the off-season.
