"Couldn't have asked for a lovelier stay. The Heather pod was an excellent base for our adventures around the west coast, and a gorgeous spot to settle down with a book and a cup of tea after a long day's walking. Kate is a great host, and the pod was cosy, comfortable and spacious. The setting is great for nature lovers too - we could hear warblers, whitethroats, snipe and more from the pod porch, and even had an encounter with a pine marten during our stay. "This is a marvelously idyllic location with sheep in the hills and birds soaring about. The peace and quiet were much appreciated, yet it was only a quick 10-minute drive into the heart of Oban. It was an excellent base of operations for exploring the nearby islands, and I would love to go back and just stay as a sort of retreat."

"We could not have enjoyed Garden Cottage more! Thoroughly modern and comfortable inside and in a charming, peaceful setting. The staff at Melfort Village were so kind and helpful also. I would recommend this cottage/Melfort Village to anyone."

"Overall we had a good experience and enjoyed the flat. As others have commented, the decor is a bit dated but the flat is very large and the layout is good with the bedrooms being down the hall from common areas. The location truly can't be beat and is a short walk from long-term (paid) parking at Corran Halls and also walkable to Dunollie Castle and close to everything in town. Cons: Our check-in was not smooth but this was not the fault of the owner or property manager. When we arrived there...
