"Condo was extremely dirty upon arrival. Sheets and towels stained, and floors were not clean. We found wet towels in the washing machine from the previous occupants. Had to rewash ourselves. 5 roaches crawled out from under the kitchen base cabinets. Coffee pot didn't work and kitchen accessories were a mess. Also were unable to open rear sliding glass door. We had friends staying in units in the same community and their units had been updated and were clean. I would not recommend this condo for...

"The condo was immaculate. The bed was amazing. Appliances brand new and high tech, had to Google how to use them. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. Pool was nice and clean. Grounds were well maintained. If you are looking for a wonderful, peaceful great place to stay on the grounds of turtle bay this is a wonderful option! Exceeded expectations. I wish we could have stayed longer."

"The Royal Kuhio is in a great spot in Honolulu. It's about 5 to 10 mins from the beach and is one street off from the main tourist area of shops. Would go back in an instant."

"Beautiful property, exactly as pictured. Loved watching the sunset every night from the lanai, and swimming in the pool every day. One resident sounded a conch shell most evenings at sunset, very cool. We only encountered a few other people staying there, not crowded at all - which is why we chose to stay here vs. Waikiki.
