"The location and the building amenities are great. The unit was clean, but needs some attention to detail. For instance the toilet paper holder needs fixing, along with the toilet flushing handle, the dresser drawers don't work well, the curtain rod is not very secure, the bathtub has seen better days, and the bathroom faucet needs replacing. Location is excellent - 5 minutes drive near Makaha Beach (rougher waves, popular with locals), few more beach north of there or drive 5 minutes more south to Pokai Bay Beach Park is you prefer calmer and more quiet!
