"Perfect!!! The photos on the website are accurate. The hotel is quaint with decor to match the vibe. It’s old, but it’s updated, well maintained and clean. I stayed at expensive hotels on this trip and my bed here was the most comfortable by far. I’m surprised this hotel is so inexpensive because it’s very nice. The pool area is clean with nice, comfortable lounge chairs. The staff, particularly Nikey, was so kind and helpful. Next time, I will stay at the Monterey and skip the “luxury” hotel...

"The room was very nice. The light stand was broke and didn’t work but everything else in the room was nice. They have a bar but it closed at 8:30. Two choices of food - Thai and Latino."

"Very nice hotel but not kid friendly. There is a dispensary basically on the premises and marijuana is everywhere. If that bothers you, this place is probably not for you."

"Worst ever hotel. Very spooky. Intoxicated man lying everywhere outside the rooms. Very unsafe. The rooms are terrible."
